Quote: Why in the h3ll did they go to showing every1's employment history to the whole world? Why is it any1s business what corps i've been in the past?
I think this is total BS. CCP should remove this immediately. In rl life it would be an invasion of privacy. Well, they are supposed to give the game a feel of realness.. this is not real at all.

2) Offers no real security
Haha. You're definition of "fact" is as fuzzy as your definition of "privacy."
The fact that you find this feature annoying is not an attribute of the feature, it's an attribute of you and your opinions and preconceptions about the feature. So, the only "fact" here is that "Jash Ilian is annoyed by this feature."
Last time I checked, that didn't warrant being eliminated.
As for "offering no real security," well, who said it did? It offers exactly what it says it offers: an "employment history."
Seems to me like it functions perfectly.
Keep trying though, these arguments are fun to see through - mostly because of how transparent they are.
If there's no merit in the argument, I'd be the only person stating such an opinion. But I'm not the only person.
What I do see to be transparent are several attempts by you to bait me into attacking you. What I believe to be transparent is the attempt to minimize opposition to the employment history so that what you like doesn't get restricted in some manner.

Look at the thread... you are in a minority. A vocal minority, but a minority nonetheless.

Well if you are smart enough to come to this conclusion, what makes you think the CEO and Corporation considering recruiting someone won't come to the same? You are assuming (rather inaccurately) that people will jump to conclusions based on employment history alone. It is merely one piece, a single tool that CEOs can use in conjunction with many other things, and their own discretion, in making decisions about people who are interested in joining their corporations.
Any CEO or Corporation who judges someone immediately trustworthy or not based on employment history alone would be making a foolhardy mistake -- but it's their mistake to make. The information is there to serve a purpose, and it serves it perfectly well whether you like it being available or not.
