I believe I am officially the first pilot in EVE to possess an Alliance Tournament Ship with 999 Kill Marks! (See images at link above)
I debated not posting the killmails, since of course I farmed my own alt....but without them I suspect everyone would just say I used photoshop - so all kills will be on zkillboard shortly as proof that the ship does exist in the real game.
To all who say that I cheated by killing my own alt, I have 2 things to say:
#1 - You are correct. I did. But it doesn't change the fact that *I* possess the *FIRST* and *ONLY* Alliance Tournament Ship with 999 Kill Marks. You know you are jealous.
#2 - I am not claiming to be king of the AT ships. I merely state the fact that I own the first one with 999 kill marks. If and when someone earns 999 legitimate kill marks on an AT ship, I shall humbly salute and freely admit that they are a far better man than I am.
Does it matter? NOPE! But I have an extremely rare and pretty ship to look at as it spins in my hangar.

To be fair, the first 13 kill marks were legitimate. It is also the only AT ship to my knowledge that has willingly taken on a suspect flag in high sec - and almost certainly the only AT ship that has willingly flown *without* any fleet support of any kind in pvp *and* fought outnumbered willingly under said conditions.
https://zkillboard.com/related/30005267/201605150400/
However, getting 999 legitimate kill marks on an AT ship as a solo pilot is ultimately pretty much impossible. Even the PL/Hydra pilots w/ all the support in the world have only reached ~140 to my knowledge, and the ship that had all those kill marks recently exploded despite the fleet support available to him.
That being said - instead of whining about how I got my kill marks, I will make you all this offer: The first pilot who goes out, buys an AT ship, and puts 999 Kill Marks on it through 100% *solo* PvP - *without* using RR, fleet boosts, or any cheap tactics that remove risk to themselves (thus bringing PvP down to roughly the same level as farming an alt) - Can have my 999 Kill Mark Chameleon as a prize*.
*After I go over all 999 kill mails with a fine tooth comb to verify they didn't cheat in any way **Also assuming I'm even still around or still have this ship by then, since I suspect it won't happen any time soon... |

Well feel free to shame me and prove how incredibly honourable you truly are by completing my challenge in an honourable fashion and then refusing my prize because it is tainted.
In fact, *if* you prove yourself to be truly worthy and honourable by completing my challenge - I shall offer to publicly self destruct my ship in shame, should that be your desire.
Until then, having accomplished nothing and demonstrated no honour yourself - and you are in no position to judge me =P |

There's something amusing about a risk-averse care-bear signing off with a phrase like this. https://zkillboard.com/kill/53250434/
Bombers are scary man...
https://zkillboard.com/kill/32920269/
Shuttles too....
I'm sorry *who* is the risk averse one again? I literally have more legitimate PvP kills *on my officer fit Chameleon* than you have in your entire EVE career... |

I am very, very, very disappoint, son. Lets be honest here. The true elite warrior with Jupiter size balls would have zero killmarks as once hes done killing everyone, he will run his ship into biggest gatecamp ever and gets his pod express back to station because flying back 10 jumps is too much PvE. Such a man would clearly consume the gate camp with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lighting from his...
Lets face it - there are no such warriors left in this game.
If there were, they would take me up on my challenge of getting 999 kill marks with legitimate solo kills - purely for the joy of battle, rather than even for my 120b+ offered prize. As it stands, this is likely to remain the only Alliance Tournament ship ever to reach 999 kill marks. And I'm OK with that.
@Aiwha - it takes more work than most people realize actually, due to the nature of the kill mark mechanics, which disallow most of the cheap tactics people use to farm themselves for kills (because yes, some of you out there do it just for fun, on regular ships ) - so no, nobody else is likely to put in the effort to do it. Time will tell though. |

As it stands, this is likely to remain the only Alliance Tournament ship ever to reach 999 kill marks. And I'm OK with that. I'm sure there are "true warriors" including those who actually use and lose their special edition ships. Your challenge is purposely impossible to achieve without farming easy kills. Nobody gets a 99% kill ratio without farming easy kills, at some point they will lose, no matter how good they are. You know this because it's the conclusion you came to when you decided to waste your time on this "achievement". People with AT ship with 50 legitimate kill marks would easily be more impressive than those with 999 alt kills. I 100% agree - they are far more impressive than I am. I have great respect for them as PvPers. All *3* of them in the entire game.
I have also, in my journeys, stumbled across some true warriors in low-sec. They do exist - though they probably can't afford the AT ship. Some of them could probably get the 99% kill efficiency with the right ship, despite flying solo, it really is just a matter of isk for them. I also freely admit that these players are superior to me.
Regardless, The number of true warriors in this game probably doesn't quite reach double digits - and in a game with (supposedly) 500,000 active players, that is pretty much nonexistent.
My goal wasn't to prove I'm a good warrior. Nor was I interested in the killboard stats at all. I actually removed my API from the killboard before I started, I only put it back so I could prove the kill marks were real without having to "show" it to people (Looking at you Raging Bull). My only goal was to create a truly unique ship - and I have succeeded in it. Mission accomplished o7 |

My only goal was to create a truly unique ship - and I have succeeded in it. Mission accomplished o7 But it's not really a unique ship, is it? It's no more unique than taking an AT ship and putting one unit of every type of readily available ammo in it's cargohold - I'm sure other people don't do that either. It's just a ship you've put a bit of time into that could be done by literally anyone if they valued their time that little. It is the only one in the game - kind of the literal definition of "unique"
Most people consider the AT ships themselves to be unique tbh...
But I'm sure you own 10 of all of them and fly them all the time. Because clearly you are the coolest pilot in EVE... |

I think in this instance though I got it right in my previous post. TBH I think you should go back and re-read my posts - assuming you are capable of reading.
I don't think they say what you think they say.
In any case, I've said what I have to say - you guys can keep this thread alive or let it die as you wish, I'll go back to my ship spinning |
