In conjunction with our partners at Vivox, we are ramping up testing for the EVE Voice service. The EVE Voice client has already been added to the EVE game client, but it has not been activated. We are asking the community for assistance with load testing, hardware compatibility and general feedback.

it's not all realtek cards that dont work, i personally have a realtek card and it works fine. Realtek make many sound cards and chipsets and only a few are not compatible at this time, but it is being worked on.
also at the time of this post i have enabled everyone's accounts who have mailed in.

Are there any reports of this working with cedega? Or not? If the voice software is in the current tranq build, I will say that it isn't causing any cedega crashing, but being that more than a few of us are running through cedega and/or wine and usually 'alsa', this could be a serious problem for us non windows users.
I ask as I haven't had time to test recently on sisi due to r/l concerns,and would like to assist from that side of the universe if possible.
i have not heard that is does but i also have not head that it does. i believe we have a cedega machine in the office and i will ask someone to try it out and then let you know.
also we are still enabling accounts if people are interested. if you are having problems getting the service to work, just send a dxdiag file and a description to [email protected] and i will get back to you.
oh and the realtek issue is being worked on and hopefully we will have a fix very soon. i will keep you posted on that.
