Sad part is my Bestower before patch at lvl 4 was 4200+, now it is over 6k. So i dont know why u are complaining about the MkV, just train the bestower and you are set.

I can partly understand the complaints, but some are a bit onesided.
My iteron V after the patch has 35% more cargo than any mammoth. Thats a lot. (1.05 for skill, 1.242 for expander in my case, 1.04... base)
Furthermore the mammoth lost its speed advantage, as it was the only one before patch with 5% speed/level.
Conclusion: My MkV¦s cargo advantage has gone bigger with the patch (% wise), and the mammoths speed advantage was removed. So imho the med slot isnt that big of a problem.
(P.S.: If you whine about MkV vs Mammoth, whine about the mammoth now beeing able to use the same speed booster type; before patch mammoth couldnt use a MWD, the MkV could)

Sorry folks, but if you would care to read my maths on the following 1352 patch review link, you will see the speed reduction is between 55-60%, and the increase in overall cargo is about 37%, assuming pretty commonly available goods (which are likely to affect 70%+ of the populus):

A slightly long post, but the maths is pretty easy to calculate.
Even with a bigger cargo hold, on average you are loosing out. Sorry

I believe the m ain point of this thread was the fact that using a mammoth that requires MANY less days to train in comparison with the iteron mark V.
Basically, why bother spending a month getting an iteron mark V when you can spend a week getting a mammoth, or even a bestower with close to the same cargo capacity.
Sure, there's an extra low slot and more shields and armor, but is the difference worth a whole month of training?

Caught between a rock and a hard place. With just 3 days left to train on Gellante Indy Level 5, and already bought the Mark 5, I'm at the point of no return. DOAH.

I imagine that the benefit here is that you can get a Mark V to use an MWD, meaning that you are going 500+ in the 10MN range. AB's will only get you so far, maybe 350+ in the 10MN range.
