I just noticed that the Dark and Light Alliance (D-L) has an outpost in the deep of BoB territory (E2).
Since I have never heared anything about that alliance (yes, i'm a n00b) I would like to ask if anyone can tell me anything about this? It is a new alliance? Old one? What sort of business are they doing and so forth.

They've been around a while, BoB friends/renters/pets depending which side of the fence you are looking from.

I scouted them last summer ... they are more then pets. In my opinion they are an alt mining and production corp of DICE. I spent 2 weeks cloaked in that system and saw them mining and hauling for eachother. Why would lessor mine and haul with the lessee?

DL are BoB pets but they have a contract with bob for Ice i guess particularly Strontium, not only that Dl does provide alot for bob production wise, intel also suggested that they were in the process of constructing a mothership for BoB

IIRC a couple months ago one of our pilots found a D-L revelation ratting(yes ratting) in lowsec. He came back with a friendly gang and found the revelation at a SS. They probed it down and killed it with like 10 cruisers/hacs.
It was afk apparently, since thats the only way I can think of that would let 10 cruisers break a dread tank. This was querious btw.

If you get turned down by bob, you can shave your neck, put on a leash and join one of their pet alliances. From there you can live out your virtual existance as somebodies pet.
P.S. If you want to be a pet owner instead of a pet yourself, may I suggest Nintendogs for the Nintendo DS.

Yes bob is ebil, they make us mine all day long to fill there veldspar order, it's not easy mining 100,000,000,000,000 units per week. And to top it all off we havent been fed in 2 months, and with the constant thrashings from our bob overloards for droping veldspar on the deck or takeing a 31 second break for the day insted of our normal 30 second break. I dont think I have any skin left on my back. I tell you this bob guy is one mean person. I here as a child he twisted the heads off small children. but shhhh I dident say that if he finds out he will surely beat me to death

Don't know about the mothership but I was told they currently hold a contract for a shipment of capitols for MC (if memory serves me right dreadnoughts).

I'm not guessing that you are pets, but I'm just saying what I know. What I know is that most corps pay bob 3 billion a month for a station and 1.5 for a complex. If that has been revised, forgive me. Also the liason for these corps and bob's leadership has the wonderfull title of "pet handler". If I am wrong, I'm sorry but this I know when the corp I in before entertained the idea until we learned that the "Pet" thing was real. We didn't think that pretending to be a slave in a video game was recreation to us.

This is starting to remind me of the ASCN wars. ASCN came up with the brilliant idea if they could wipe us out BoB would crumble. They sent fleets against us, camped our systems, hired mercs, spent billions upon billions trying to destroy us. I wonder what happened to ASCN. Oh yeah they pay BoB rent now. Muuahahhahahhaha
Now my poor covetor has to contend with D2, AAA and various other fleets that keep popping their head in our system. Cant we just all just mine in peace ?
