A couple of the guys in the corp were poking around in the map and noticed a bodycount office in the closed space north of the new regions. That got me interested and I looked around a little more. I didn't spend hours on it but I did quickly find a D2 and a SMASH office in Jovian Empire space.
What's the deal with that? How does one go about getting an office in Jove-land? 'Cause I want one. Just to sit in it and moon all the passing Jovians from my hanger you know...

long long time ago you could set your clone contract to jovian space and suicide jump to there, some people opened offices
dunno if anyone managed to sneak past the devs during alliance tournament to do so |

but if they have offices there... doesnt it mean that THOSE corporations can still move their clone contract there??

They did. Both conin and bdic along with a few others rented offices during the tourny in jove space. Conin stopped paying the bill, as we have yet to receive our mc issued hulk bpo, and thus are to poor for an useless but cool jove space office.

long long before the alliance tournament, when the eve world was still young , and not open for most peopple , it was possible to rent an office in those far way region ( in fact, during beta )
some peopple did, and, alwais pay the bill for those office, in hope to get a room free for when/if the jove will open open their space.

my old corp had a jove office. we sold it to F-E for around 2 billion isk, dunno what F-E did with it.
