More Liberal dribble from a Gallente none the less. You are like all the the other intellectuals who propose what it is to truly be Caldari by observing our culture from afar, one must live the Caldari life, to grow up on our planets to appreciate what the megacorps allow us to achieve.
It is our dedication to the preservation of our culture and our ideals that make us strong. From our warrior hearts of the Rataa empire to our technological superiority of the modern day we have fought to remain who we are. We didn't break off from the Gallente because we wanted to be individuals, we fought because that sense of an individual society threatened everything we are.
There are many who say we are mindless drones following orders without question. We are not Sansha drones who do without thinking, Admiral Tovil-Toba didn't crash his ship into the Gallente prime because he was ordered to, he did it because it was his duty as a Caldari to ensure that his people and his culture survived, this is still to this day upheld with the Navy's simple motto, "For the Good of the Many".
To be Caldari is not to be a mindless drone who serves without question as so many of the outsiders seem to think. To be Caldari is to fight to uphold our culture and our values. It is with honor to the brave warriors who have fallen before us that I and my fellow brothers and sisters fight for our State. Our undying loyalty to the State is not forced, we do it because it must be done to protect all that we hold dear.
The State is no myth, it is real, it is all around us. The State is the very embodiment of our people. The CEP is not some ultimate power, it's very words are not taken as law like the Amarr Emperor nor does it just spit out senseless dribble like the Gallente Senate. The CEP is bound by the very same principles that every Caldari citizen is, the CEP does not dictate our cultures our ideals, it upholds them and abides by them simply because it is their duty.
To be Caldari is to be loyal to the State and it's citizens, to perform your duties without hesitation, to uphold that which makes us who we are.
