how high would u recon the chances of stumbeling accros a lonesome obelisk in 0.0?
id say rather slim unless the obelisk pilot has either drunk to much beer, his sister grabbed his account or he simply has no clue of what hes doin....
in my case i gues all 3 terms added up and im not sayin that it was me piloting an obelisk..........
i was npcing happily in my vaga with me the only one in local.
Then suddenly -a neutral enters- what ship could he be in? can i take him on? has he got more mates with him?
Anyway go to station put a scrammer on after all im in a vaga and just bail if i cant do it...
Open scanner to find an obelisk--???--- check gate and there he is jumping the gate!!!!
scramble him on the other side and start shooting...and shooting ...and shooting.....
after a real lousy attempt to bail the situation and try dodge the ransom i decide to shoot it down.In about 75 structure my corpmate arrives (he was 7 jumps out in his ravenxd) and we finish it.Now hopefully this link is gonna work for u....

Before christmas I was piloting a blasterax from MHC-R3 in Syndicate to 4C- in Outer Ring. A few jumps into OR I come across an Obelisk jumping just as I'm uncloaking. Nobody else in local. I jump back with him and scramble/web and start blasting away; heart trembling while opening a convo.
This was another guy who was flying an Obelisk alone in 0.0, packed full of his ships and mods. I asked for 300m - feeling very bad for him - and he gave it up without any fuss. Then I let him go, to continue his journey through 0.0 with half-armor.
In retrospect I should have asked for 500m and a free escort.

Aint no loot to be had from a freighter. You destroy a hauler because of the fat ISK to be had from loot. You destroy a freighter to ruin someones day (or disrupt an enemy). Both are good incentives.
