Sylux	Posted - 2007.03.03 22:26:00 - [1] Okay i have been training mainly for the interceptor side of things since i started but now i have decided to get onto some serious Battleship training for the Future. My Question is which Battleship is the best for small group PVP? I am at a stage where i have balanced skill points so each different BS takes about the same amount of time to get to a good Level. People have said to me Rokh or Tempest would be a good idea as they are most versatile. Just please put forward some of your opinions and experiences with PVP BS's so i can try and come to some sort of decision. Regards, Sylux

Phish1 Liberty Forces Ratel Alliance	Posted - 2007.03.03 22:29:00 - [3] THERE IS NO BEST SHIP! /me thinks there should be a popup every time someone uses the words "best" and "ship" in post/chatbox small group pvp, well AC tempest is a nice dmg dealer, as is a blaster mega, rokh too expensive for small stuff imo as if u get blobbed it sucks at warping out and moving fast. i personally fly a phoon, they are very versatile but therefore need a large range of skills to fly well, shield, armor, navigation, projectiles, missiles, drones + all support skills to lvl 4/5

Tempest is ok with its range on Autocannons. Rokh will have the a similar range as a tempest, just with lower damage - rokh got a bigger tank though. ------------------ Might Aswell Train Another Race Idiot

If you're a very support-oriented fighter, go with a Scorp to help your gang win EW superiority. If you like to play bait to get people aggressed at gatecamp, got with an Abaddon. ECM boat(scorpion)? Missile boat from hell(raven)? Rail sniping platform(megathron, rokh, hyperion)? etc? get what i am saying?

All I want is a range of opinions which i can look at and come to a better decision myself. Stop posting 'Oh this post is so wrong' and 'This is a stupid thread' because it isn't helpful and is off topic. If you got nothing to say that is useful - don't say anything at all. Thanks for all the useful comments though, I am getting some idea of what ship I would like to fly.
