I've been gaming since the good old days on my 386. Most Dev teams want thier games to get good reviews, be fun and have people continue to play them. A MMOG should continue by following suit. So I firmly believe CCP will not let me down, there has to be some of the games life blood. The Spice of Eve, megacyte. "The Spice must flow". I firmly believe that Spodanium, Arkanor or even Bistot must be in the game somewhere... and somewhere accessable, not 7 or more jumps from the nearest station. Megacyte has far to much demand on it for the Eve economy to survive without it... unless we are going to make a new miracle mineral to replace the need for megacyte? Of course Zydrine, the other super important mineral is MIA. I would sure like to see it again. So has anyone found any?
Another question is, since the "Common Ores" are all over the place in Stain and Curse, perhaps the Mega and Zyd lurk in those now, has anyone refined them since the patch?

IŠve seen today with my scout in a 0.0 system (where the best ore before the patch was gneiss) spod, bist, Crok, Dark Ochre and Mercoxite. I havnŠt seen Arkanor. But there was also a 750k BS NPC guarding the belt.

Yeah, I saw some TEENY weeny dark ochre roids way out in Placid.
There is no omber to be found in any system that I visited last night in Lonetrek where it was usually found (like in 0.3-0.7 systems)
Mostly its just Veldspar and some small Scordite and Pyro roids.
You've got some teeny Jaspet roids being guarded by 7-12 Gurista Nullifiers or greater now. Why? I have no idea.
This patch blows chunks.
It's one thing to tweak the game a bit, its another thing to make things about 4 times rarer.

Omber doesn't seem to be THAT rare. In the systems that I've checked for mineral content since the patch, all had considerable amounts of Omber, and they were 0.4 and 0.5. Maybe the systems you went to were just mined out...?

I also have travelled ALL OVER lonetrek looking for omber... none. In fact the only place I could find ore with Isogen was in a .2 system and that was Kernite.... still no omber anywhere! And what the heck is up with the lack of scordite?
Who the heck had their hands in this new rebalancing of ore? I can and would have done a much better job of it. If you need help devs, just ask.

Ok, I will start it off.
Omber and Kermite located at Uotila. Plus plenty of Pyroxeres, Scordite, and Veldspar. Looks like the roids are a bit bigger than before the patch. There are two stations in Uotila but does not have a refining center. You can make one jump to Isenairos and use the facilities there.
Hope this starts off the cooperation to jump start the economy on Eve. We do not need high prices to stop the fun.

I don't know what some people's problem with this patch is...
I can't turn on my new 100Mn MWD without running into 5 kernite roids...that kernite is everywhere. Is seems like every field in Domain respawned at Castor. There doesn't seem to be any omber but who needs that when you've got so much damn Kernite.
As for Bis, Spod, Ark, and Merc all these have been spotted in significant quantities by my corp-mates...the only problem is that every time we try to mine them we get farked by these damn apocalypse rats :) ... or the damage cloud blows up our can :(

I haven't seen anything higher than Dark Ochre but my mates tell me of Bistot and everything below that (no Arko though) but there is PLENTY of Kern out here, I mined like 20 Mill worth of Kern in like 2-3 days
