I don't suppose what might've happened is that you got jammed once, and then damped and missed it? And you couldn't target after the first jam because you were damped down?

Whether ECM drones were used or not, which its been stated they weren't, they still need to be removed or seriously nerfed. I am pretty sure a lot of people would agree, like those almost dependant on a lock-break in order to live. It's pretty bad when a battlecruiser can be dam near cyclejammed by ec-300's.

If anything ECM was nerfed too much.
I suspect the domi had at least one racial on, or a full rack of multispecs, in which case you should spend a lot of the fight jammed. Ask him.
On the other hand you may have been dampened, which seems move likely to me. Were you at v close range or were the other 2 sitting at around 14-20ks? A lot of the time when I'm looking at my overview and wondering why i'm jammed still it's because i'm actually dampened and everything in my new lock range has run away..

Good lord - one person gets jammed since Kali and the sky is falling!
Any battleship can have a strong chance of keeping you jammed if they sacrifice enough slots and have a decent signal dispersion skill, and especially if they fit the right racials. They just have to sacrifice some tank and other EW, which is perfectly fair.
Apart from that you were fighting vs Battleships 1-on-2: you could easily have been nossed into the ground, totally outdamaged or generally pwned in any number of other ways. Just because it happened to be with ECM you then post here crying that ECM is unbalanced. Riiiight!

Originally by: Wrayeth Well, I just had a nice little fight with an ECM/nos domi and his buddy in a raven. I was kicking his ass with my 900 DPS maelstrom, then he jammed me, and I spent 2/3 of the fight (which lasted a minute to a minute and a half) unable to do anything. I thought this was supposed to have been fixed with Kali. -sigh-
1) it was one single fight, it might just have been bad luck, no need to say that it's broken for everyone
2) you don't know the fitting of the domi, you don't know how many slots he used for jamming.
3) from what i've seen ecm after kali is just fine, pretty well balanced
Hate people that lose one ship and then cry on the forums OMG I'ts broken.

They wanted to make it so that any old non ew ship couldn't fit a rack of multispec's and perma jam several large battleships. This was done but they did not want to remove it all togehter, its totally possible if you use racial ECM to be able to damp down a single ship of equal class.
It just sounds to me like you will be unhappy unless ECM never works on you, even if you never fit any eccm modules.

The ships could quite easily have had ECM Rigs fitted which would have increased their jamming efficency. The simple solution is where ever possible to fit an ECCM be it low slot or med slot, granted it does not offer complete protection but it does help alot.

Are you sure they weren't using a combinaion of ECM, Target Disruptors, and Sensor Dampeners?
