I refute it thus

but yeah, most of you people look like you should be on "the jersey shore" The American public's reaction to the change was poor and the new cola was a major marketing failure. The subsequent reintroduction of Coke's original formula, re-branded as "Coca-Cola Classic", resulted in a significant gain in sales, leading to speculation that the introduction of the New Coke formula was just a marketing ploy |

CCP karkur wrote:hey everyone, since you are all here to talk about the character creator I wanted to ask you a few questions .
- When you go through the character creator, is there anything that you find confusing or unclear and could be improved?
- Did you all notice the "tucking" options, that you can randomize the whole character (and each group), and toggle the clothes off?
- Now we have only facial tattoos... would body tattoos be something you would be interested in (and then how interested), even though you cannot see them in the portrait?
- A few people have asked for normal glasses... would that be something you would be interested in?
- Did anyone have problems with the body modifications, and if so, what did you have problems with?
- Are there any small usability issues that bothering you in the character creator?
- Do you think players in general would be in favor of allowing bloodline changes, or are there just a few souls that are unhappy with their heritage?
- Any more suggestions? (other than "hey, we want more racial clothing" and "hey, we want no clothing restrictions").
(I've been looking at the character creator for so long that it makes perfect sense to me , but it would be great to get some input from you guys... and these are just questions, not promises that everything you suggest will be done )
I've not been in there in a while but as I recall (also know I am a user of poser and have some foresight into how to do this sort of thing, so my thoughts are not the average users)
-my only problem with the creator is some of the handles on the face are not obvious and it would have been better imo for some of them to not be grouped left and right. -the eyes don't always track to a single fixed point, the left eye always seems a little off -A randomizer is always good, for all layers -I was a little confused by the clothing and accessories random icon and inadvertently clicked it messing up my current settings at one point. perhaps a tooltip? -I think the facial tattoos are a little lacking in variety and racial/ethnic diversity, as it is they seem either extremely discrete or full on darth maul, as far as body tats go? meh... I'm honestly not expecting to be using it much but if you're offering to do the work, options keep some people happy. -peircings... if we must have them (and I used to mosh back in the 80s) I'd love it if they again were not mirrored and thus more reflective of the lack of symmetry in design in eve, and also have the ability to double and sextuple up on the ears -I'm proud of my heritage and have no interest in changing bloodlines, but I still think it should be an option for people to change theirs on a highly limited basis -clothing meh, in a game where you rarely see yourself, its not on my radar. Usually in games where you can actually choose an appearance it gets covered up with armor anyhow, so to me its a low priority aspect of the game in general
I have always been impressed with the impact the portrait has on the eve experience, getting popped and seeing some evil bastich glowering at you with the 500 yard stare. That always stuck with me, and the new creator for all its beauty killed a little of that, its very hard to replicate now, but I still think the impact it has is just as real, just a little cheesier. so to me the portrait is very important but the full body, not so much.
