Hey folks,
Quick question for you now that the event is live. I've just cleared 3 sites that are supposedly related to the event (Angel Sortie, Serpentis Transportation Facility and Serpentis Mobilization Point). However, after clearing the sites, my 0/10 counter for the challenges, all of the challenges, is still 0 across the board. Do I need to be blowing up any structure to get the credit for clearing a site? or should I be looting something in particular? (btw. event container has not spawned anywhere yet.)

the first site i ran updated no prob. i then ran some more it didnt update thinking it was just the server tick i went a did a mining event. mine 100k scordite some cycles it would update others it wouldnt. i falied the event even though i mined over 100k scordite.
not amused that i mined and didnt get my points would of set me over my daily goal... |

I am seeing this too.
My alt cleared out 3 information sites, and the counter went up by 1.
And then the way it is counting rats seems odd too... Same types are counted at one moment and then not the next. 20 kills in the counter took about 50 kills.
And the loot tables are empty too, that stinks... a 2.5 mil battleship (okay, nice bounty) at a .6 gate... but no drop of anything - that stinks. |

Having the same issue here done many of the sites that were listed in the missions but have yet to gain any progress towards them.
Through I did get progress to one of the missions so it seems it works in some shape or form whether It is just backlogged really badly or something we can only wait and see I suppose. |

I'm not sure why this is happening, this is the 6th site, still nothing. I really hope this gets fixed soon... |

For those of you doing the Angel's Menace one, make sure you read the fine print. I did one, got no credit, and then realized it says that you have to be in a Frigate when you kill them.

Yep.
Did some more after that post, same result, counter does not update.
Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format.
Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

Some updates other don't.
I did an serpentis shipyard thingy first and got 1/5. 2. shipyard I didn't count
Then I did a second Serpentis sol...somehtingsite and it counted the serpentis I need to kill 7 out of 200. Next site I was at 21 out of 200 and since then no update.
Ohhh And i'm suppoed to kill the 200 ships within 24 hours. But when I started the timeer said 45 min. left. Now it says 0H and 0M left. I wonder if the timer started yesterday even thou the sites were not on server :D
I have done angel bunker and research sites, but still 0 out of 5.
I haven't done the one where you are supposed to kill a ship by using a "rookie ship". So not sure if that one works
Also, is it only the serpentis shipyard that gives rewards, while the other counts towards the objectivs? |

Buggy as hell , i mined Veldspar for Veldspar shortage (i need 500.000 units 50km-¦)
and it dont work.
i mined over 300.000 units and have only 100.000 units progress and whatever this mission expires in 24 minutes thanks ccp..
wasted time and mined ******* veldspar in 0.0 for nothing.
and i dont know what the rewards are |

Some of them are - my ship yard objectiv is updating and so is my angel bunker research
but the 200 ships in 24H is not probably because the timer has run out - still don't understand how that is possible when the event has not been up for 24 hours lol :D
But bit meeeh cause it is worth 2000 (not 200) points and I would say I have killed more than 200 ships - shame to miss out on those 2000 points :S |

Everyone knows that certain sites have a can that has to be looted in order to be completed right? I know its stating the obvious but sometimes we ignore things right under our noses. I have yet to have a single one of these not count.

I noticed that, the loot table is non existent, and the salvage isn't far behind it.

Big exploit/bug with these aswell, obviously can't post here as I'm sure it a exploit but will be submitting a report to ccp later.

Not all the sites are related to the missions assigned to you. Read carefully which site or patrolling rat you are supposed to target. |

I have found much the same issue.
The information available as to how to complete these sites (for example, what ship that you must use) is sparse and/or very unhelpful.
On the whole the design of this "event" appears to be yet another way CCP is turning this game into a job. |
