I am not happy with all aspects of the patch but I am prepared to try and adapt and have a rethink on statagy.
You sound like a child who takes their ball home so no one else can play with it. Maybe you are a child?
Goodbye, you will not be missed.

I can't believe you guys .
Castor has been live one friggin day, the dev's have stated they have overdone the NPC spawns and maybe the MWD/AB nerf as well. Missions are bugged but being worked on.
Why the hell quit now ? _______________________________________________

It's been live for one day, exactly.
It's been in development and testing for, how many months?
The time to find and correct these major problems is not after applying the patch.

I for one am not upset about ppl leaving. The longer term success of the game depends not only on numbers, but types of players. If we shed a few ppl who constantly moan or who over-react to everything then Eve will be a better game. The player base may go down a bit, but any new people joining are much more likely to stay because of what they find. And in the long-run we will have more players.

more players as those who have been around and supported eve are leaving in dissapointment at this new patch, to quote Melvin: Where did they teach you to talk like this? At some Panama City sailor-wanna-hump-hump bar, or is this getaway day and your last shot at his whiskey? Sell crazy someplace else...we're all stocked up here.

Agreed. I considered leaving, but now not a chance. Keenon, I am embarrassed for you and your corp.

It called reality Veruna. Ever played other MMORPG's ? Patches always cause bugs and problems, and always have to be patched and fixed. Dont whine about it.
Keep your skills running if you hate the game atm and come back in two weeks. We should be fine and settled by then, and I will have the tech2 BP you would have gotten if you stayed
And dont worry about players running out. I understand that at this moment, every leaving player gets replaced by 1.6 new ones since CCP has started dowload sales. _______________________________________________

He m8, I never said eve is perfect. I just said the fault lies with yourself for not getting out of it what's in. Dont like it ? -> move you ass out of here.
*on a somwhat softer tone* Of course CCP need to fix things FAST. But the amount of intrest ccp has been displaying in our opinion of late tells me they will. *crosses fingers*.
edit: And again, my offer to help out any small corp that cant see a future for themselves, stands. Sent me an eve-mail and i'll see what can be done. I can't promise anything as Colossus Technologies will have a hard enough time as it is (we got only 30 members ourselves). _______________________________________________

Ohhh so its my fault the game now plays like complete re-write ahh thx for that, and rather than people point out that they do not like some of the changes you would rather they just said nothing and quietly slipped away. maybe it would indeed be better to just have 2k regular none whining player eh? until CCP go bust that is., as i said earlier: Sell crazy someplace else...we're all stocked up here.

The point is not personal satisfaction here, friend, it's a vested interest in the future health of EVE as a whole. The fact is, it just barely has enough players now to continue to be successful, and the rate at which players are leaving is quite possibly outpacing the rate at which new ones are arriving.
If you like the game so much, you too ought to be concerned with the fact that, regardless of the reason, EVE is in fact losing players, and in order to continue existing the trend must be reversed post haste.
You people seem to have a misplaced faith in the fact that just because EVE is a great game that it will succeed, yet all evidence is currently pointing to the contrary. Castor was supposed to put a finger in the floodgates of people quitting, but it seems to have opened them even wider.
I personally don't have many huge problems with the current patch, other than NPCs and the ore distribution, both of which have been acknowledged as problems that are being worked on.
What I do have a problem with is EVE's player retention rate, and the total lack of concern most veteran players show for it.
"If you don't like it quit" only works for so long, up until you find that people actually do quit, and you're all alone in a game that doesn't have enough subscribers to fund the living expenses of the employees of the company. Then guess what happens?
