Great idea, counting them zero's is a pain in the a*s
You could always just look at the fitting requirements though ? So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Quote: wow you guys put alot of work into this post it should be
1,000,000.000 that way we can tell the differance what number is this
1.000.000.000 is that one
1,000,000.000.000.000 that will work too
where on earth do they use decimals im in the US and our schools teach , so im confused on where there use decimals and put them all over in the number to confuse things.
Well, this whole post is a non-issue. But since you ask. The whole world except US (and UK ?)(+ related coutries) use , for decimals and . for thousands etc. _______________________________________________

Odd idea,
CCP could just read the machines default settings, just like every other windows based application does

Agree..
Could use spaces instead of commas or periods? ie. 1.0 10.0 100.0 1000.0 10 000.0 100 000.0 1 000 000.0 10 000 000.0 100 000 000.0 1 000 000 000 000.0 10 000 000 000 000.0 100 000 000 000 000.0

there are 2 values in the prefs.ini called digit= and decimal=
you should be able to adjust whatever you want there. however the decimal= value is read out by the client very well, the digit= one not. whatever you put in there, it wont be recognized.
both values lack the ability to use whitespaces aswell (or I havent figured the correct usage), i.e. decimal=" " does not work.

So why hasn't anyone thought of a much easier to read and (I think) more uniform method???
