I kind of liked it better when bob guys were posting on forums. Rubbish like this was quickly refuted, disproven with in game actions and the op was sent packing with tail between legs.
If you honestly think that just because lv went down after a long extended campaign that bob will do that same, you are sadly mistaken. In fact, your immense short sightedness and failure to comprehend basic strategy is glaringly obvious.
From what I have seen (and is generally accepted by the community), bob is made up of very good players. Their opponents on the other hand are nothing more than riff raff. As has been proven time and time again, riff raff has no chance when taking on skilled individuals. It is the amateur versus professional argument. So essentially what you are dealing with is a pickup league of softball players taking on the Yankees....
Goonswarm fails in comparison to that of ASCN which was really only handled by maybe 100 or so bob members at any given time. Goon may have numbers, but that has proven a mute point with the exception of crashing nodes. Take into account that now they have to defend space, which by the way they have proven to fail miserably at, makes it more likely that they won't succeed at anything.
d2 is just a weaker ASCN as what was pointed out earlier. CA is nothing wihtout the Goon meatshield. AAA is onboard for survival and will flip once it is obviously going their way. (this is no slight on AAA, well at least the original element. They should have thought about absorbing the former ASCN elements however as that excess baggage will be their downfall)
Then you have the bandwagon effect. On both sides of the fence.
Sure this 'coalition' has a lot of members but when you are dealing with low quality, well you end up with a lot of low quality. Bob on the otherhand attracts the better quality players and will continue to do so. Afterall, anyone who has decent skills wants to be able to play with players of the same calibre, not a bunch of whiners. Once you come to the realization that bob is good at Eve because they know how to play the game it all becomes perfectly clear. Naysayers and losers would like to have everyone believe that bob uses cheats, hax, exploits, etc but the reality is that bob just plays better. They are smarter, more mature and far more disciplined than the other groups that are opposing them. End of story. Truth hurts. Thanks for coming out. Take your pick.

Mr. XSiV,
your statement is a slap in the face for LV. You are indirectly saying they were beaten by unqualified players, making LV look very bad indeed.
Fortunatly the truth is that there are a lot of 'quality' players in EVE. On both sides in the war, as well as in unrelated alliances and corps.
You realy need to get a better understanding of EVE, so you do not post such nonsense anymore. It makes you look foolish.

Lv were beaten by numbers this won't be the case for BoB if al the alliances that attacked LV go to attack BoB they will leaave all their space unprotected and it won't be at arms length to defend. LV unfortunatley had all the alliances against it convienintly on its borders making it very hard for it to defend its space but they did it for months none the less and against 5 times its own member count.
BoB will win the good fight and LV members should continue to stand proud because they fought with amazing courage against the odds.
The BoB/LV*****tail is the best out there don't doubt it - fear it!!

quantity /= quality. and if you've played video games for any amount of time, you'd know that a zerg force invalidates your theory in many cases. until they resolve the node crashes, the game will remain in favor of those who can field the most number of people.
and for organizations that recruit people by telling them that they can come destroy assets of people who take video games too seriously (aka griefers), this is good news. but they should all remember an important message they are so quick to preach. you reap what you sow.

Well doy. This is a game, you know. If (or when ) BoB has been snuffed out, the coalition will break back into its constituent parts, and the general hustle-bustle of 0.0 politics will resume, with wars, deals, residencies and economic wrangling once again taking the front seat. No-one in the coalition assumes for even a moment that a post-BoB EVE will be a peaceful utopia, nor do they want it. The same thing goes for BoB, too.
Utopias in a PvP game does not smell like fun. --------

The Northern Coalition is currently attacking BoB space, keeping BoB entertained while the Southern Coalition lays some finishing touches to the conquered regions. Then the next phase of the war is likely to proceed.
Originally by: Xade BoB will win the ... fight...
It remains to be seen how well BoB will do in the future. Currently the situation against the Northern Coalition looks like a deadlock.
Additional forces attacking BoB, like for example the Southern Coalition, could very well result in a highly problematic situation for BoB.

Alot of people have smacked us for pirating, well its called chilling out and relaxing after a long drawn out campaign so if your died well all i can say is get a scout next time:P Total respect for RA for the frulegur battle last week with the capitals and all what great fun. EMPIRES RISE AND EMPIRES FALL. N00BS JUST GET POPPED. Unfortunaltey RA have allied with the lowest skilled pilots in the game. Thinking BOB is done for is the worst under estimation i have ever heard. Curse Alliance is just a scourge on the true CA. Flying under the great name with a bunch of noobs why????? They're damn good, probably the best in terms of playing the Eve end-game but they're not as godlike as you'd like to believe.

the defencive game is always a game about how long can u survive, the offencive game is about how many more assaults before the enemy just dies from a heart attack
1: LV has been fighting RA in a war of attrition for over 10 months now, so yes i assume LV would have been pretty drawn out, especially through the use of what we call 'cowardly strategies' (im not going to draw out that part anymore cause well, its all been said b4)
2: BOB have not experienced RA POS spamming like those who lived around RA, its a very tense inviroment and tbh POS warfare makes me shudder, due to the monsterous lag, the several days of trying to maintain 1 POS whilst keeping access points open, BOB are more offensive than dealing with extended and drawn out POS warfare scenarios
my opinion on how RAGOON is succeeding as well as they are: RA are vets, GOON are pets, fortunatly for RA goon come in numbers, well i think there name best discribes it they are a swarm of bees, no matter how much hand thrashing u try, 1 bee at least will manage to sting u, and well the numbers are staggering. So far i believe LV have turned alot more defencive, trying to fortify positions of attack, and are not working as closely with there allies, they need to focus more on working together to achieve there goals
i personally have a strategy, but this isnt open source, i share it with few and has a few requirements to achieve what they need
anyways LV and BOB need to start working together or else they will loose this (yes there is fight left in them)
BTW i know consider this the war of colitions (in eve i believe its the first time that real coalition fronts have been seen, before it was indivual alliances, now the we have a half way line with alliances from all over EVE taking sides)

I see a lot of people talking about BoB being hardcore PvPers, yet I still don't see the same rampage-multikill that took place during the ASCN war... with days of 70-100 kills. Their killboard is flourished when some DD activates, but even that has stopped lately.
A peek of 54 dreads, 5 MS and 2 titans is more harcore mining than anything else.
I sense some softening and it might be because some of them don't like what they are getting.

I seriously sense the stupidity when I see the Northern Coalition KBs having tens of BoB pets killed daily and while FIX are at high rank amongst those, I see very few BoB .
Why are you talking about numbers, I thought the hardcore PvPers are going more about finesse that "blobing"?
