This one is a real test, and by far the best IMO. It doesn't try to force people into particular categories; it puts you on a 2-dimensional spectrum and lines you up with various other figures in today's world and in history (George Bush, Stalin, Ghandi, etc)
Use it instead.
From what I remember when I took it, on a scale from -1 to 1 (-1 being left, 1 being right) I'm about a -0.15. On a scale from -1 to 1 (-1 being social libertarian, 1 being fascist), I'm about -0.5. --23 Member--

Sounds like he lives in Scandinavia (or if he doesn't, he'd be happy there). From what I've heard most of the governments there are socially liberal (i.e. government doesn't mess with what goes on in your bedroom) and left-leaning (i.e. near-zero poverty rates due to welfare programs, more money spent on education, but considerably higher tax rates, etc).
I'm personally pretty centrist, though due to the United States moving somewhat rightwards in recent years, I'll probably appear more leftist to those living here.
(I hope I'm not getting too much into politics here) I'm more of a fan of policies that work, regardless of their political affiliation. For example, Reagan seemed to have a good idea in cutting corporate taxes; more profits would mean more money reinvested, which would mean more jobs. However, he turned out to be wrong; the money was instead spent on corporate mergers, which in the end probably reduced the number of jobs.
A good idea, but it didn't work in practice. And in the end, all that matters in government, as long as you stay to your principles in doing so, is whether something works or not.
On the other hand, people seem to enjoy hopping on opposite sides of the fence on every issue, if only to be able to yell at each other.

I must say tought, even if i might look like a communist, i certainly ain't, if it would actually work in reality, i would be the first one to take up the commie banner first of everyone. Thus i'm more social rather then a commie, since communism don't work in reality.

What would be more fun would be to compare these numbers to your EVE play style.
I'd bet a lot of carebears would have pretty leftist numbers...

Liberal. You value strong individual freedom and believe that government has a vested interest in the common good, with an emphasis on aiding the socially/economically underprivileged. In foreign affairs, you believe in working with the international community to solve problems. You are more likely to vote with the Democratic Party. Liberal 50% Conservative 50% Centrist 42% Anarchist 42% Libertarian 42% Socialist/Marxist 42% Environmentalist (Green) 42% Fascist 33%
I needed a tie breaker... now on to DS's link, I enjoy these things (Scandinavia, DK)

Quote: Are you a real life hippy?
err define hippy. dictionary.com says:
1.a person, esp. of the late 1960s, who rejected established institutions and values and sought spontaneity, direct personal relations expressing love, and expanded consciousness, often expressed externally in the wearing of casual, folksy clothing and of beads, headbands, used garments, etc.
2.A person who opposes and rejects many of the conventional standards and customs of society, especially one who advocates extreme liberalism in sociopolitical attitudes and lifestyles.
3.someone who rejects the established culture; advocates extreme liberalism in politics and lifestyle
Well I'm 22 so wasn't born in the 60s, so definition 1 doesn't apply to me rejected institutions...well I don't like them, but actively partake in them, so I guess not. some established values I'd reject. the lovey doveyness and charity shop clothes...no. I'm in a long term relationship and actively unfriendly to most people Definitions 2 and 3...maybe. Though lifestyle doesn't neccesarily reflect belief Ideologically I'm an eco warrior. In reality, I'm a couch potato armchair intellectuals ftl =\ ohhh the angst. /wrists.

She, DS, she and are you kidding me? Scandinavia is cold Though that sounds great, the government can stay out of my bedroom it's none of their business and I'd agree with higher tax vs lower poverty because it would seem to me that the wealth was being distributed a bit more fairly...
