How do you chain 0.0 belt rats so that the high bounty battleships keep spawning?
I've asked this of half a dozen people and gotten 20 different answers. The only thing they agree on is that you don't kill all the rats. Other than that, every answer I've gotten contradicts every other answer.

Since wrecks came out its doesn't really work anymore. Otherwise that annoy lagfest of a complex in araz would be so much easier.
Ive never known a game company to use lag to deliberatly add to the difficulty factor
Thats IMHO.

Who'll come in call em a noob and tell you how you have to leave the frigs in a belt after killing the battleships then hum for 60 seconds while drinking a coke, then tap left mouse butten kill a cruiser spawn, cntrl-Q twice; then go back to the orginal belt while whistling the star trek theme.

Chaining is damn overrated IMO. I get so many people throwing hissies at me for chaining because of their damned isk per hour.
You're a lot better off just killing everything and hitting the next spawn, regardless. You're a lot more likely to get faction/hauler/officer spawns this way, which, overall, gives you more cash.
Chain said spawn? You can try, i've only heard of incredibly rare occasions it's worked though. ----------------- *snip* Part of your signature was inappropriate- Tirg The Mishing is an ethnic group in the districts of North Lakhimpur, Sonitput, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Sibsagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Tinsukia of Assam. |

I have made several differant approaches to chain. Going on advice from several people. And this seemed to work for me, Kill everything but one frig. If your not getting any good BS's or the occasional faction spawn kill everything. Also, loot the cans and pop the wreck. Keep eve clean.

History: Chaining used to be a process of making a lot of isk very quickly. In a belt with good rats, as long as 1 rat survived, the rest of the same group would respawn. The problem was, they would respawn quicker and quicker and eventually respawn as fast as you killed them.
Somebody relised that they could make 10bil a hour by having a ship afk at a belt in a quiet high sec system that would instablast all rats bar one that was out of range. So they would leave a tank and smartbombs running to make billions of isk overnight.
CCP fixed this so yes, the same group would spawn, they would no longer spawn instantly.
Currently, the best was to chain a system is to find a system for yourself, and kill off all the crappy groups, and for the good groups, leave a single frig alive. Eventually after a few hours, you could get the whole system to have mostly tripple bs spawns. Each group may take 20-40mins to respawn though. --

this doesnt always work make sure u loot or kill all wrecks and they do warp around a lot more now ive noticed
CCP has nerfed spawns now due to ISK infaltion but most of it comesfrom the removal of non ISK mission bonus rewards its all straight ISK and this is where the inflation is feeding from
other than that reduce the bounty on some ships or raise loot and lower ISK
reduce overall sapwn levels or add some new subclasses with slightly varied stats and make them more common within each ship class

The best method of chaining is to kill the high level BS's and leave everything else, this way the BS respawn faster than if you were to just leave one frig.
Chaining is a good method to get into if there's limited belts for everyone to share, alhought as has been mentioned chaining is not as good as it once was. Rats these days tend to depawn or change belt location more often. There's also the fact that chaining reduced the possability of faction/officer spawns.
