Actually they could do with making drones stupider as a starting point.
I, for one, would have less trouble herding my drones if they never did anything I didn't tell them.

If you go into your options menu, there's a difficulty slider. Put that all the way over to the easiest setting and you'll be fine. |

hmmm, dunno, I kinda like drones having minds of it own when I have ALOT of frigs around shooting at me..(while my mega focus on the big targets...)
so.. conflicted....

I think drones should make cute, purring noises.
I also think you should be able to breed drones. Imagine a berserker/praetor hybrid. It would be pwn! For serious.
Now, breeding drones might become a problem for the more, ahem, lonely drone breeders, but it shouldn't be anything a few changed to the CONCORD protocols can't fix.
