(LV v. RA slug fest in Detorid, 0-W778 solar system.
Started with one of our carriers attacked outside the station, RA opening cyno and bringing in their capitals to kill our carrier. Our carrier went down, fight moved to gate with DG with RA taking all their capitals, including dreads, to the gate.
Our fleet engaged theirs, ours with fighter support. One RA dreadnought killed, one into structure but survived - a close call. Lots and lots of wrecks from both sides. RA in control of battle field at the end, our fleet withdrew to POS. Sorry RA, we ran out of FCs + it is late for RA so good time to stop - RA please come back again soon, tomorrow may be?).

It was exelent minimal lag or no lag.
no smack just plain gentlemen fighting.
Thank you RA this was maybe best fight so far in eve.

GF RED, thanks for bringing capitals to gate and continuing fight.
Thats what EVE should be about!!! Minimal blobbage, hardly any lag at all and from the part I red local smackfree fight. Just 2 parties kicking living poo out of each others. Got 40mins fraps out of it, mostly me dieing next to the gate and getting new ships from POS  . Definitely worth of every ISK.

i dont like stats but if we are talking about wrecks here it is:

---114 losses total---
+Lots of fighters.
RA losses:
1 Dreadnought

---27 losses total---
That was pretty unlaggy long fight but lots of our members crushed due to internet channel down to europe from russia, good that it was fixed very fast in about 1-2 mins.

That sounds quite accurate, from LV boards:
The good guys
Involved: 132, Lost: 85 (3,316,760,000 ISK)
The bad guys
Involved: 69, Killed: 32 (3,074,397,000 ISK)
Involved means numbers of SHIPS involved not PILOTS (one pilot loosing 9 ships counts as 9 involved) and I doubt that includes capsules either. So add capsules and losses not posted yet on our boards (GRRR!!) and our numbers are pretty much same I think.

In the few months since my corp joined LV I have had a lot of fun fights with RA. They have more balls than most and are never afraid to bring it. This fight was a really fun one. It probably lasted about an hour and it was pretty much lag free. No smack that I saw afterwards, local was filled with "GF" just as it should be. Was a pretty even battle swinging from RA launching a succesfull ambush, to LV having 4 lone RA dreads pinned down, to RA cynoing in more capitals and getting a support gang in.
I hope for more fights like this. RA forces you to be on your toes, and a fun challange it is.

Was a awsome fight ! GF and GJ to both sides.
And Mr Great Mogul, Its not nice to lock a little bs repeatdly with a big frikkin Dread :) Made my pants a few times trying to warp out :)
Was great fun, prolly one of the best fleet fights for ages.
Worth noticing:
Great Mogul has a speedy Matar boy working on those nano reppers, awsome recovery from some real heavy beating.
SabreMarienetLime, has a wicked tanked Sleip.
K1lz dont have any ammo, me neither, was the most fun part on ts, ammo ammo ammo ammo :)
To top this of, it was some great laughs and GF for real in local after fight. I think we all liked this kind of fights, this is was eve is all about.
Hope we can do this soon again.

I hate to ruin the speculation here, but this was just one of the first times we had two fleets slugging it out with capitals on the field and where lag played no part whatsoever in deciding the outcome.
It was a GF without smack and one of the better large engagements i've witnessed in this game. Props to all involved.
And lol @ people making statements like "wow, lv smacks less then a year ago". Go make your own thread pls.

A superb fight. My battlecruiser pulled out 5 times to repair and recharge in station before back to harrasing the RA capital ships. I lost my ship but it gave its all. And it was lag free. RA's crazy ivan tactics are hilarious. Using capital ships as a support fleet
LV are going to loose Detroid very soon but we are fighting as hard as we can to till we loose sov. Then we regroup.

Personally, I've been fighting RA since september 05. Never had anything but respect for them, what a crying shame the best battle we have ever had was when I had to sit at a POS in a travel fitted carrier assigning fighters. Still, I did get the fun of listening on teamspeak.

I doubt there would be a ceasefire this late in the game though. I think it's in all our blood now.

If i dont like RED for some reasons, ive always respected them as pilots : they are the best combattants in the game with BoB and LV.
