To the uninitiated MySQL equals MS SQL Server. It's both SQL right? 
It isn't trolling or such, just not the proper depth of ICT knowledge.

Seriously, if they're using MSSQL or MySQL, I am fearful. Quite simply, as a professional database developer, these databases are abysmal. Maybe even abyssal.
I won't bother stretching the e-peen on here, but I'm well qualified to make these remarks.

While I'm not getting into any kind of flame fest, I assure you they are using MSSQL, as confirmed by EVE in an interview.

It's not a node-thing either. Not in my case anyway. I'm running missions in a region where there are perhaps 30 players altogether in up to 2 jumps distance and I still get some serious freezes when warping to certain missions.
My system is below what you guys have and I DO get lag spikes in missions sometimes with terribly low framerates. But this is an entirely different kind of beast when I get freezes of up to 30-40 seconds when warping into some missions. Real lag with low fps "feels" quite different.

damsel in distres Lvl3 lagged me out to desktop crash, then I reconnected I was in a pod. I petitioned that obviously. To all the fools that dont see the point this isnt a tactic topic its a lag kill. Got it.
I can do level 3s till i turn blue and wont lose a drake, but the lagfest in distress got me.
