Welcome back to Eve.
I can't give advice on Tengu fit since I mainly fly Minmatar ships along with a few Angel and Ore Faction ships. I'm sure you can find a good W-hole fit for it just by doing a Google search.
As for W-holes, definitely check what class level it is before trying to run the sites in it. I would say only do low level W-holes, nothing over class 2.
Wish I could be more helpful. Hope you have a long and rewarding career this time around.

What's wrong with the buzzard? Tengu is slower, more expensive (juicy target) and is not better (maybe even worse, I don't recall the bonus) at hacking. If you want bubble immunity, just get your skills to max and fly an interceptor.
I'm my own NPC alt.

Stick with your Buzzard for the hacking games. It will do all sites unless you screw up and it's cheap to replace when you lose it - which you will.
I'm a bit uncertain to as why you would think you need a Tengu. Perhaps you could shed some light on that and I be happy to assist further.

I think the hacking bonuses are the same for a tengu and buzzard, you will lose ISK/hour due to speed though, a buzzard can flit between cans a lot quicker.
And while you might think the tengu is safer because it is tankier, it only means the pirates will bring a bigger group for a juicier target. I kill a lot of explorers. A buzzard dies easy enough solo, if I spot a hacking tengu I call out "who wants a Tengu kill?" in corp and easily get 10 volunteers. |

tengus can be nullified though, making them a lot harder to catch |

The reason I was looking for a Tengu fit for exploration is due to sleepers or toxic gas in the some of the sites I go to. Small frigs can't handle it. So I was wanting to get advice on a ship to explore data and relic sites in null. High sec data sites are not worth my time really. |

if you're talking about sleeper caches, everything that can be done in a tengu can be done in an astero |

I'd start with a stratios instead of a tengu. cheaper, it will do what you want it to do, and you won't lose skill points if (when) you die |
