Here is an offer that was given to one of our corp members.
Gilbert Drillerson > the question is this, do you want out or will you fight to the death ? Gilbert Drillerson > I can offer you a deal if ur interested Gilbert Drillerson > two options.. you can stay (we have to figure out terms for that), or u can get a day or so to leave peacefully Gilbert Drillerson > I would prefer an answer by 18:00 eve time tomorrow
We have been asked repeatedly to turn on BoB and our allies and I will give you the same answer that I have told the rest.
Stick your offer where the sun don't shine and stfu.

Everyone knows you're supposed to offer a newly conquered region and loads of isk if you want people to betray. Either that, or brute force intimidation. Honestly, take a lesson from the masters of subterfuge themselves, BoD.

I am curious about that. Why do you want to fight to death if you could stay there peacefully? What do you gain from fighting there?
Fear maybe? But that makes no sense, BoB is not at all in a condition to whip you into shape if you don't obey them.
Loyality then? But where was loyality in the first place when ASCN went to pieces? That makes no sense either.
Profit then? But fighting this fight sounds quite unprofitable to me. And aren't you paying rent to BoB also for the place? What for if there is war.
Honour it is then? Hmm, yes, it is not that honourable to be a bob pet I think.
Pew pew? That I doubt because why did you go to this place first if it was not for a save place under the protecting hand of BoB so that no one can harm you.
All in all, I am out of clues. I would be delighted if you (or any other in the former ASCN space) could enlighten me why you are aligning that strongly with BoB. Thanks.

It's their home. They fight for it to defend it from the agressors (coalition)
Fear maybe? But that makes no sense, BoB is not at all in a condition to whip you into shape if you don't obey them.
BoB gives good conditions to alliances in their space, no different from D2 for example.
Loyality then? But where was loyality in the first place when ASCN went to pieces? That makes no sense either.
ASCN was weak.
Profit then? But fighting this fight sounds quite unprofitable to me. And aren't you paying rent to BoB also for the place? What for if there is war.
Believe it or not, but some alliances in BoB space do not pay rent ;) That is a common error in thinking of many of BoB haters.
Honour it is then? Hmm, yes, it is not that honourable to be a bob pet I think.
BoB is in no way more unhonorable than RaGoon. At least they stand by their words, and they have a strong code of honor when it comes to PvP. Just because a few individuals in boB were caught in illegal activities, does not mean all of BoB are cheaters. Being a BoB pet is no worse or better than being a D2 Pet / RaGoon bandwaggoner/pet imo. Just look at all the tiny alliances jumping on the coalition train, unable to do anything on their own.
Pew pew? That I doubt because why did you go to this place first if it was not for a save place under the protecting hand of BoB so that no one can harm you.
That is very wrong. Alliances are given a piece of Land from boB, where they can do what they like. They have to defend their own land. the difference is they didn't take it on their own from an enemy entity, like RaGoon is doing now. When the coalition auctions land in the newly conquered regions they do the same as bob did.
All in all, I am out of clues. I would be delighted if you (or any other in the former ASCN space) could enlighten me why you are aligning that strongly with BoB. Thanks.

Since you ask. Switch sides and be aligned with the Goons and RA? No thanks. Why stay aligned with BoB you ask? Fear, no. pew pew, yes. We like it here, yes. Paying rent, blah blah. Everyone pay's rent in one form or another if you live in .0.
Loyalty? Whats so wrong with having some loyalty to your allies. And you made mention of ASCN. I was not in ASCN nor are we ASCN. Besides all that, I'd much rather be called "pets" (which is beyond old. Think of a new word ya Goon Lovers) than a cowardice turncoat.
As much as the coalition tries to get BoB's allies to turn on them, I can only imagine what it would be like if they were to succeed. They would all turn on each other in a few hours ___________________________________

1. BOB themselves.
2. Gods of Night and Afternoon and Tea Time and Half past 5 and whatever else your alliance is called.

BoB are the ones who initially used that word to refer to their vassals, genius. Everyone else just latched onto it. If you'd like your masters to call you something else than take it up with them.

so your mad because someone offered you the chance to switch sides and not have them take your space and pod you repeatedly.
Not to mention that BoB and well just about everyone else makes the same kind of offer to tennents when they're invading someones territory.
So the question is, are you insane, or just illogical.

I'm not part of this war, but i find it funny when people post things like "fight to the death" first becouse in 90% the people that post it are in some small corp no one have hear about and not from one of the main fighting alliances. and the 2nd is that what death? worse case is you dismantle your old corp start a new one and go have fun in some other place in space.
I feel some of the people around here need to remember this is a game and in a game it's not about life&death it's about fun¬ fun if fighting with BoB is fun for you then go for it, if fighting with the coalition is fun for you then join them.
If i post something smart it represent my corp and alliance all other posts are my feeling/ideas only and do not represnt the rest |

LOL I was waiting to see how long it would take someone to figure that out.
This offer is nothing special....I would think its a standard offer given to everyone by both sides really.

Tardz were not ASCN. They used to mind their own business in a system called RL-L or something like that in Syndicate as memory serves me.
I would also guess that they don't pay rent in isk, rather in HULKS...as they are the proud owners of one grade a HULK BPO...and can pop those babies out faster then drones.
As to why they stay? I haven't found a single entry proclaiming their loyalty to anyone in past threads....guess PMV is a good little system to shack up in
