Just a warning to all of you, before spending loads of money paying for subscriptions. My accout was recently hacked, if this happens CCP BANS the account and even though it is not your fault, thier policy dictates that you will be unjustly punished. And after you have paid and played for several years, they will take it from you. Please consider this before signing up. Although EVE is the best game there is.

Better not buy a car in real life either. They can be stolen, and when that happens, YOU WON'T HAVE A CAR ANY MORE!!! That is, until they investigate, find the car, and get it back to you.

Let me clarify this as I have been in contact with several people who have had their accounts hacked over my time in EVE.
You report it to CCP, then CCP freezes the account, to make sure no more harm is done. Then they trace what happened to everything that was stolen, get it back, and then unban your account.
They don't punish you for getting hacked. They only punish you if you are the receiver of money that was acquired through hacking, such as if you bought ISK via an ISK selling site, and they transferred the stolen ISK to you.

Not true. The GM's know I have done nothing of the sorts. And they know it was not my fault. But they refuse to return it to me.

Which policy is it that dictates that the user will be unjustly punished? How is it worded?
Since you state that they have this policy surely you must be able to recite it.
