Edited by: 4rc4ng3L on 09/03/2007 23:45:01 Just woundering. I bought like 150yo-yo's worth of em but il be honest, their just collecting dust now still nice to have though.
Just curious as to whether the whole area has been successful for CCP or not. Have a load of friends into CCG's and they always talk about new ones coming out and whats new on the 'ccg scene' (cant believe i said that! ) but they never mention the EVE-ccg and prob wouldnt have even heard of it if not for me.
Would hate to see it all go t*ts up for CCP, some dam nice cards!

I run events for the CCG at my local games store and it's doing very well. We burn through booster displays like they you wouldn't believe. It has quite the following here. I can't say for anywhere else though.
It really needs an expansion set to come out soon though to keep the interest going.

I dunno there aggressive marketing seems to me to indicate they are still trying to get off the ground, but I haven't seen any sales figures. I wish there was a tournament in my area.

The first expansion, The Exiled, will hit stores July 11. Teasers have been posting to the CCG site every week for a little over a month now. Head over there and check out some of the new cards.
Also, if you're looking to find/start some events in your area, now is a great time to drop me an email or talk to your local store about a prerelease tournament. Has CCP given any thought to making an online version of the CCG similar to Magic the Gathering Online? |

We've thought about it, but CCP is not currently working on an official online version of the game. That said, there are a number of player projects, ranging from a workaround for an existing Magic program to a Table Talk program to a full graphical representation of the cards and the table space. --- Zack Walters EVE: The Second Genesis Organized Play Coordinator White Wolf | CCP North America |

zach I tried top e-mail you but all I got was a random failure e-mail back in iclandic
that said maybe you'll still be able to see my mail here which was basicly
Rhode Island love use the test stick on us :)
or at least newengland. I wouldn't mind being the person who runs the torni and read the rules and introduces the game. but I don't even know what card shops would be interested in RI. and I know they wouldn't listen to me :/
but they might listen to you. and if they did I would go into that store as a CCP repsentive anyday.

Edited by: Helywane Vandoo on 01/08/2007 18:33:55 I went into the local game store here in town and asked the owner about Eve ccg and he just shrugged and said he'd never heard of it and wouldn't be getting any of them unless he had alot of ppl asking for them. The only indication that anyone had heard of it was some guys said they'd seen a banner ad about Eve Online, but never played. The rest of what they said was unintelligable stutter. I suppose girls dont drop into card/table top, pen and paper game stores much. lol.
So...any idea on how to popularize it. I do so hate ordering material things online. I'd rather be able to pick it up in a store and look at it before burning my money on it.

do what I did. e-mail zack and get an agent kit. then wall into the store with your offical shirt, your 20 free decks, and your offical handbook, and request a demo night.
then again I go to a card game store where this is weekly thing.
Also you must live in america, in europe the game is really big. ----------------------------------- I'm working my way through college target CCP
