Is there a full list of what all the various settings do in the [esc] menu? In particular, the 'general' settings.

What's an 'exception window'?
What's a 'modal window'?
What's 'Enable naturalpoint trackir head tracking'?

1) Windows that contain ugly error messages
2) Windows that "block" the screen, meaning you can't for instance activate modules until the window is gone
3) Google for TrackIR. If you don't know what it is, it should be disabled.
4) Not sure, probably language-related (russian etc).

IME = Input Method Editor, a way to input non english letters as for example russian mentioned above or japanses/chinese etc.

On a note about the EVE IME, I find it a bit disappointing that all clients can't at least render the extra fonts.
Example being if I write:
ライザンダー
it comes out as:
█ █ █ █ █
for pretty much everyone else (who don't have Japanese support). Kind of frustrating.
Note for moderation: Text is "raizandaa", an approximation of my character's name in Katakana and is included for example purposes. Please don't nerf it. ^^'
