Hey...
I was just wondering why we dont have a warp effect in EvE yet, no i'm not talking about a mid-warp effect like we have already.
I'm talking about an "Warp Drive Charge Effect", where you can see that the engine prepares to warp!.
What we got now is that the engine is turned off, and you just go *puff*, its stupid and looks bad.
Why not have a warp charge effect like in "Freelancer? Or "Nexus"?
Seriously, it wouldn't just make great eye candy, but it would actually help the tacklers pointing out players that haven't been scrambled.
Theres nothing worse than attacking a gang, and then see a player warp off with 10% armor just because you accidently clicked a wrong player. An effect will give you a visual "warning" before the player warps away.
EvE already got tons of effects, so adding an engine charging effect would not be a problem at all.
Your thoughts?
