In our efforts to eliminate the slave trade, we are looking to bolster the ranks of the Electus to increase our overall effect on this horrible trade of lives. On top of this, we are constantly working to eradicate the pirate threat in and around republic space; make no mistake, Electus Matari is firmly against all pirate and slaver operations. While our main goal continues to be for the good of all friends of the Minmatar Republic and the Matari Tribes, we know all too well that alone it will be an uphill struggle of titanic proportions. As such, we are seeking corporations who seek to fortify the freedom we all deserve, while at the same time bring freedom to those deprived of it. Now, it matters not where your talents may lie, be it industry, mining, research, exploration, diplomacy, scavenging or war, your knowledge and expertise could and would be brought to full bloom with our combined talents. As a corp, we're very team-spirited; even from our humble outset, we accomplished the impossible by attacking it as a team, and a true member of Re-Aw will do anything for his corpmates. As pilots, we specialise in doing "odd" things, from complex running and exploration, to combat recon, logistics and e-war. At the forefront of the fight against slavery, Re-Aw actively pursues EM's wars against PIE Inc and Delictum, and works alongside other pro-Matari groups against piracy in Republic Space. Apparently I have quite the sense of humour, though it gets me into trouble a lot - allegedly my sale value in Amarr would be about 37,000 times the value of the average slave... if only they could catch me. RE-AW are currently looking for new employees under the following prerequisites : * You should have held a pilot's licence for over two weeks. * You should be a Minmatar or Gallente - though we do make exceptions for pilots of other races truly committed to the Minmatar cause. * Standings must be positive with 5+ with the Brutor Tribe and 2+ with the Republic, and you need to be willing to work your heiney off to get more. * You should be willing to fight alongside your corp and alliancemates for the Matari cause. * All corp members contribute in some way to mining ops, so you should be willing to spend a couple of weeks, over time, on learning your way around a mining laser or one of those slow, lumpy industrial things. You don't have to be "death to all rocks" though. A lot of time is spent on missions right now, but we also do mining, production, research, ratting, PvP, and so on. We usually arrange corp mining ops to get minerals for the production of ships we then sell on the market or use ourselves, or to get ice to fuel our small reseach starbase. And since we live in low sec most of the time we sometimes need to deal with pirates in order to help keep minmatar space safe for honest people. One of the main things in whatever we do is that we try to do it together. This helps create a nice and friendly atmosphere where everyone feels that people are there for them if they need it. Recruitment: At the moment we are not actively recruiting new members. But the door is always open if the right person comes along. In some cases people contact us with a request to join, and in other cases we find someone we would like to recruit and contact them. Either way we want to get to know the person before we recruit him/her. Applicants should meet the following requirements: - Character should be on a paying account (not a trial). - Standings should be positive or neutral towards the Minmatar republic. - Security status should be positive. EM has some real characters! It's true, as you say, Eva, that you can judge an organisation by the quality of it's enemies. PIE and Delictum 21236 are among the best IMO. Rho is the home of the New Life Programme - a slave liberation scheme which does more than just haul people back to our space and dump them, but includes a massive programme of education and treatment for the ills suffered under slavery. Rho is, in particular, a good home for humanitarians with guns and members of the Amarr underground railroads. Useful skills include high levels of diplomacy and the ability to fly transport ships, while high standings with the Minmatar Republic and Gallente Federation will be useful in moving people safely through customs. Ramus Clay Minmatar	Posted - 2007.10.07 18:14:00 - [111] Your alliance has been of top interest to me and my character since I started prowling through the IG Summit, and boy was I pleased to see this thread when taking a random look through the recruitment center! Anyway, I am relatively new to EVE and RP, and my character is fairly young when it comes to being a pod pilot (he is a little older than two weeks, however). I have some basic knowledge of skills and modules due to having touched this game (with a different non-rp character who is no more) a while ago and have recieved guidance from RL friends who are EVE veterans. I'm 21 years old, live in Sweden (GMT +1) and spend between 2 to 6 hours a day playing EVE. My character (and my only one), Ramus, is a freedom fighter who is dedicated to the Matari cause and that of the Republic, right now spending most of his time in a frigate while working for the Fleet and patrolling Republic systems that are heavily infested by the Angel Cartel. He is a combat pilot and I will continue to train him down that path, but I am sure he will be able to pilot industry ships pretty soon for more mobility, so he will be able to help with hauling whenever it is needed. I'd be happy to apply to any of the less populated corporations of this alliance (like MUFF or Rho), I'm just not sure where I'd be more of use.

ergonot Republic University	Posted - 2008.03.31 12:25:00 - [144] Ok, I'm looking a little glossy-eyed at this thread. I am totally new to EVE and RP but not mmo's in general. I live in the US-central time. (6 hrs behind GMT I think. My game shuts down at 6 a.m. local time).q I am interested in role playing, but am a bit apprehensive. Never into pretending to be a dark elf in WOW, etc., I think EVE may be a little different in that my RL skill set as a cab driver may prove useful in an entrepreneurial game like this. (Meaning hustling, not stealing or ripping people off.) But I'm not sure where to start. Which corp would be best for me, and is there any patience for RP newbs with this group? I can also only give 2 full days a week regularly and an hour or two in the morning on my workweek. (I work night shift, 6 to 6). My race is Minmitar and my bloodline is Seb-something-or-other. My own requirements would be a somewhat mature corp that can use mostly real words and at has at least some sense of grammar, even in game. (Common game abbreviations notwithstanding.) I am definitely a team player and laid back in general. I'm hoping that maybe by going RP, along with a much deeper gaming experience, that I will be 'mates with less idiots than joining a regular corp. I have a real bad taste in my mouth from WOW players, and most other online games for that matter. -sig total nubage. alert-
