MC Shipyard Destroyed by close range RA / AAA dread fleet.
ET set off doomsday. Not clear on # of losses but most seemed to warp out on time.
5 RA / AAA dreads destroyed.
More info as the field clears. -

1 dred - Bigmaman from SDG was killed in fair fight. 4 RAT dreds expirienced freeze screen. They were just unable to turn off their siege module, hence they were unable to jump when i cleared battlefield from scrambling frigates.
Thats life i guess
We watched each one of the go out of siege at least once because we were calling points on them. Lag was very random, but it was no worse for us.
What was your DD kill count? -

I swear that if another MC member mouths off in this thread or any other that you'll be on POS fueling duty for a year.

Come on, ET. Rise above this *snip*, m8. You did good and so did we. Let's leave it at that.

A bit more info -
After last night, we figured we would be able to rep the second starbase up without many problems. Due to the tower coming out of reinforced after downtime, we honestly did not expect a serious attempt on it at such an off time of day. Still, we had a decent number of people on and felt okay...
Then a Falcon zoomed through to L5D and popped a cyno. It's unclear how this happened. Not sure if our camp was asleep or what, but the tower came out of reinforced right before DT and 20+ AAA / RA cap ships started pounding on it. They got the shields down to about 10-15% and then DT hit.
I came online about 10 mins before the servers came back up ready to help repair the shields and walked right into, "OMGWTF AAA DREADS EVERYWHERE WAKE UP CAP SHIP PEW PEW!!!"
The tower was screwed. Nothing we could have done would save it, not against 20-25 dreads. All we could do was rally up and make them pay for it.
The servers came back up, we spent about 4-5 mins getting ganged, the AAA dreads showed back up at the tower and we went in. At first we just had a dozen or so BS and a few carriers, then everyone else started to pile on in - Toxin, D-L, EXE, D-R and others. The best part was we had several dictors dropping bubbles like mad. After the first Dread went down (who was away from the main group), we shifted position to go in close range (under 60 km). By now we had several carriers and BS on the scene and I made the slightly insane decision to take my Nyx in with 20+ capital ships still on grid.
By now the tower had popped and the cap array was vapor. No one cared - "Make them pay!"
We got tackles and dictors all over the main group of Dreads. There were at least a dozen of them trapped. I can only assume AAA / RA realized this because Evil Thug, who was in Y-C, jumped in about 100km off the main battle. A couple minutes went by and it was obvious that he was waiting to use his DD until most of the enemy dreads were out of siege. Finally, the screen started to go black.
Most of our ships seemed to get out, we probably lost about 30% of what was on grid. The main point was that the DD killed off all the dictor bubbles and the dreads still not in siege were able to get the hell out of the fire. There were six left on the field. Due to losing a couple dictors and bad timing on shifting scramble points we lost two of them but nailed the other four. It was a smart play by ET and kept us from extracting a larger price for losing the yard.
Oh, one last thing û crappy way to find out but apparently kill mails on starbase towers and modules are in (or was this always there)?
