You mumble while you're trying to keep your balance. Your eyes try to focus. Everything seems so bright...
The world of New Eden is in turmoil. As the amount of licensed pod pilots have increased significantly over the past few years, alliances have grown to massive powerblocks. Combat in 0.0 is no longer decided by skill nor tactic, oh no. The fate of each side is now decided by the roll of the dice, the twist of fate.
Splinters. Fragments of your past start coming back to you. Your graduation from University, your first ship. The corporation. The alliance. The news. Chaos. Global war.
Powerless. Unable to control your ship due to the electromagnetic field generated by the hundreds of ship board computers and thousands of drones buzzing around the battlefield. Left and right you see Interceptor Class vessels aimlessly rocket by, leaving the battlefield as their navigational systems can no longer correct the ship's movement. You watch as your wingman's massive Battleship's armor plates can not disperse the heat and radiation from the hostile fire. You could almost hear him scream...
Instinctively you go through the same procedure as always. Collect your new uniform. Sign a new clone contract. Collect your insurance money. All while trying to recollect your memory, putting the pieces together.
The decision. Your last tour of duty. Your resignation.
Never again did you want to lose ships you saved up for so long, only to lose it to the anomalies associated with large scale combat. No longer the uncertainty of living in territorial conflict. You've walked the path of the Medical Facility too often.
It is time to follow the dream you hoped to find in the borderworlds. You've spent so much time perfectioning your skirmish warfare skills only to find them rendered useless in large scale fights.
Refuse to be a number. Be all that you can be. Exile yourself from the region you've been chained to for all that time. Exile yourself from disappointment. Because there is an alternative...
Exiled. was formed to relive what EVE once was. A game in which tactics make a difference, and where a small gang made a difference.

In order to join Exiled. you must meet the following requirements to ensure that you fit in with the rest of the team.
Your characteristics:
- You are able and willing to change area of operation on a moment's notice.
We may have to shift our base of operations every once in a while when we engage in prolonged conflict
- You know the basics of PvP and understand what each module does.
I don't want you to ask what a Nosferatu is, or scream murder and fire if you suddenly find yourself unable to lock that Rook you wanted to kill so badly.
- You also know how to fit your ships accordingly.
If you're told to fit a sensor dampening ship, you have the insight and imagination to produce a fitting that succesfully dampens other ships, and that utilises any spare powergrid and CPU for other useful things.
- You're able to keep your head cool under all circumstances and never, EVER resort to smack.
Feel free to vent off in Corpchat, but never show anything to the outside world.
- You're a friendly and helpful person
Nobody likes sour types now, do they?
- You have no problems with piracy and will not frown upon such acts from other members.
Everybody has their own moral issues, if piracy is your game, then you're free to practise it as long as the target is not a friend of the corporation. If you don't want to act in piracy, then you're free not to engage in such activities.
- You are willing to check the forums on a regular basis and participate in discussions.
We cannot always keep everybody informed especially when plans are in concept. Voice your concerns before we voice our definitive plans.
Although characteristics are important, we can't really work with a legion of Reapers, Impairors, Velators and Ibises, as you can imagine. So, we need skillful players.
- You are able to fly a battlecruiser (or anything 'beyond' that stage) effectively
That doesn't necessarily mean T2 turrets, but I do expect you to dish out decent damage, control drones with good support skills, and be able to sustain a tank. We will decide what's good or not.
- You are able to warp scramble, webify, jam or sensor dampen effectively.
Electronic Warfare is vital in combat
- You are self-sustainable.
A loan is one thing, but we are not a communist corporation. You bring your own ISK to the battlefield!
- You are able to keep your security status balanced.
The inability to move freely through Empire will do you no good and will render you useless as an asset to our corporation. Please consider your security status as kill credits. If you're running low, you cannot afford Empire ganks. If you can't keep it balanced, try a solid, static corp instead.

It was a very tough decision, but HA grew to a point where I just didn't feel at home anymore. I wanted to get away from waiting hours at a POS until we could get a fight, only to find myself unable to properly fight because of the lag.
I found that it was time to just go and try something new, and this is it

Bump. As for a status update, we're going strong on recruitment and it's becoming more and more fun. Chances are that a group of americans will join up soon meaning we can span both timezones without anyone having to fly alone.
