I come back and notice that missile bays now show and have rather nice animations. But what have you done to lasers CCP? Its so anticlimactic to fire mega pulses now, no more juicy zzzzz-POOOM - Just a muffled fart. Autocannons sound okay, even artillery. Why the hate on amarr?

You should just be hearing the sounds cooling equipment and humming motors, maybe some clicking as items electrically couple and decouple. None of us should hear anything but the internal sounds of the weapons firing. So, whatever sounds we hear from the weapons it's totally arbitrary. We'd only hear the weapon discharge sounds and vibrations and incoming fire once it hits armor or structure. Maybe lasers should sound like a Banjo twang... If you fired the right, you might be able to play dueling banjos... 8 Golden Rules of EVE GÇó EVE is entirely PvP

Some sniper blob FC must have gotten tired of his pilots turning up the turret noise to the point where they couldn't hear the FC over the sound of reality being disassembled by tachyon beams, and prayed long and hard to BoB to nerf turret noises. It's not the gun making the sound as you can't hear anything outside of your capsule being plugged in and all. It's just something the capsule software does. They should def bring it back and let us modify it into any sound we want. I want a squeaky toy sound.
