Goodbye Video
It is my sad duty to inform the EvE Community that Beagle Corp has formally shut down. I founded this corporation in January 2005 as a jack-of-all-trades outfit with no goals but to have fun. Since then we've tried just about everything EvE has to offer to a corporation; industry, alliance membership, mission-running, mercenary work, piracy. The pinnacle of our existence was our conversion to a full PvP corporation after the fall of Kaos Empire a year ago. Since that time, Beagle has thrived and grown; defeating alliance fleets in their home territories and roaming the galaxy with a no-blue policy and a no-holds-barred approach to combat.
However, all good things must come to an end. In October, the corporation was put into hibernation for a number of reasons, not least of which was my directors and my lack of play time due to real-life commitments. Anticipating that I would have less free time for playing Eve and running the corporation once we reactivated, I put several schemes in place to give corp members more autonomy and allow directors to take a more hands-off approach; including a complex operations management site using the Eve IGB. In January, we reactivated and started on a new road with new ideas and some new members. At first, everything seemed to be going relatively well, our campaign in Syndicate was a breath of fresh air; presenting us with new opponents and new problems to overcome. Our move to Querious was similarly successful; several notable engagements were had with FiX and Gunboat Diplomacy, as well as small skirmishes with BoB and the local corporations in Khanid itself. Unfortunately, the *****s began to appear once I became inactive last month due to college work taking up more and more of my time.
Not long after I became almost completely inactive, my best director, Chewan Mesa; the guy who helped keep Beagle running smoothly for almost 2 years, decided to move on and join a different corporation. The life of a director in a corporation like Beagle was never easy; there were always operations to plan and lead, loot to evaluate and split, applications to screen and daily small problems to sort out. In the end, real-life and stress caught up with us both. It was then that I decided to close the corporation altogether rather than let it whither and die over a period of months.
Several Beagles have already left to find new homes in corporations like 0utbreak, D00M and IEEX. I'd urge any competent PvP corporation looking for talent to get a hold of as many of the remainder as possible; these doggies are well trained and can smell a fight from 10 light-years away  . Over the past year we've developed complex setups and tactics which have proven themselves to be effective and unique; a former Beagle can teach you a lot.
To all of the friends and enemies we've made over the years, this is goodbye. I'd like to give a big shout out to some of our favorite foes; FLA, Morsus Mihi, Razor, D2, Pure, cDc, IRON, FiX and Veto; you guys gave us a reason to hop into our Battleships every weekend.
I am proud of what we accomplished as a corporation during our time in the EvE universe; we excelled at just about everything we tried and I have no regrets even now at the end. I like to think that we had a lot of fun together and that we made our enemies lives more interesting in the process.

It's a sad day whenever an icon becomes a memory. I only got the opportunity to fly with some of you guys during your short stint in Roadkill recently but it was something worth seeing. Kudos to you guys for deciding to go with dignity.
Any ex Beagle who wants to be a Splinter, let me know. We go by the Bruce Lee rule of combat, so we have much to learn from anyone who wants to teach.

I was in Beagle for a very short time indeed. RL didnt allow me to give the corp the time and dedication it deserved.
I was amazed at the attitude these guys went about their pew pew. No holds barred, no quater given. Professional and effective.
The respect shown on these boards says it all....

I must say that flying with Beagle Corp was the most fun I've had in eve. Big props to Turiya, Chewan, and Kuentai for setting up a remarkable place to have a massive amount of fun.
The guys in beagle were... remarkable and I'll miss that experience. Nowhere have I experienced the planned suicidal mayhem that somehow rarely resulted in my demise.
Fly safe... or at least fly to have fun.

All good things come to end, so yeah the small commando is retired now. I must say that after this time i consider the beagles as my real friends, good buds, it was one of the best time in EVE, and in a MMO. I still talk with some of them. I stayed in EVE because of them, good lads, good pvp, small and friendly corp. We rocked EVE up and down.
It was honor to fight along your side guys.
Now i am gona take a break from EVE, cause without Beagle, is hard for me to find EVE as fun as before, and to find a corp like that anywhere in this game.

You guys were and are always fun to fight. And not to mention several times I was given pointers by your members in local :] Nothing but a bunch of good to go people, and it's sad to see the doors close on your Corporation.
JHENR is, of course, always open if you're looking to come back to this side of the map. Just get a hold of me during US evening times and we'll try and accomadate.

Had some great fun with our ops, even though RL prevented me from joining as many of them as I had hoped..
In our very last ops, someone shouted to me on MSN that a dictor was needed, so I jumped into one knowing I would use it for the first time in pvp. Suffice to say, my dictor noobness showed as I tended to launch dictor bubbles all over the place..but in the end, it allowed us to score quite a victory against a numerically far superior fleet, as they where constantly prevented from warping in and out whenever being called primary.
Yay for being the lone tackler and being constantly primaried by enemy support and somehow surviving

i was in beagles just one long month but i was best fun ever i had ingame.
Now it disbanded im a sad lost puppy

Another great PvP outfit disappears but props for calling time on it, rather than dying by a thousand cuts.
You've left behind an envious reputation and have your own chapter in the annals of the game ~ most Corps dream to be able to say that.

Any corp in Khanid lowsec can tell you that Beagles were a formidable group. They had a real talent for setting the stage for successful battles using patience and unfortunately too often smack talk until they were in a perfect position to attack.
As a relatively new player to the game I can tell you I learned something from every encounter with the Beagles and I'm sure they'll take that capability with them wherever they end up in EVE.
