and if icemining is moved to lowsec - great, never better for the ever-dying piracy.
this can lead to several changes, which I firmly believe will benefit the economy as a whole: 1. Ice prices will go up in hubs. 2. Ice products availability in lowsec and POS-enabled systems (0.7 and lower) will increase or stay put, but not decrease - good) 3. More ppl might consider ninja-icemining in their expensive Mackinaws in lowsec - propelling the t2 indy market a little better than concord-protected mining operations. 4. Ice products decentralisation or new dedicated ice hubs in mid-highsec space - can never be a problem, imho. Although Jita sure is a cool place to do shopping.
Looks good to me :)
It would increase cost of run POS's a lot, and people who run a POS for Moon mining, or reactions doesn't exactly have it that lucrative as it is. Why dont you pop up a few large towers and start nurse, and then check how good it looks?
You are 100% right. I used to run some POS action and it was nowhere near lucrative. but if you think about it - if POS running costs go up due to fuel prices, the POS product market will bounce back to life (not that it ever really was so lively after it settled down) and possibly running of these beasty moon miners will finally be lucrative again.
What I'm saying is that the change in pricings might affect the end-product prices in a non-proportional way. It is very unsure, yes, but it might just work. And then I'm sure POS owners would be happy too :) On the other hand, if ice product prices go up, more new ppl will join the fold in their retrievers in search for easy money. As well as that, remember that invention is taking over, so moon minerals will have more individual clients. You won't have to make personal deals and try and get orders from t2 magnats, because there will be a more demanding market niche opening from all those entrepreneurs that never scored a BPO yet, but have the skills and will to produce t2 from invention system only. All in all, POS operations are standing on the edge, but might just climb up, imho.
whats good about everything getting more exspensive? i mean good for the majority of the players? ___________________________________________ if eve had This kind of control system combinet with it's SP and advanced weaponry system it have. http://sco.gpotato.com/ |
