Gaaaah... "1-2 years experience", "2 years experience", ... Every Corp is looking for experienced people and the whole world wonders why there are so many people unemployed.
But there are some positions I'd love to apply for, too bad I didnt complete my degree yet.

No open positions for gate-campers, it would seem.
Kieron,
In Atlanta, USA section, there are several links that point towards what seems to be your internal Wiki. They don't work. Might want to:
a) remove them if they are not intended, b) poke someone to fix them.

Salary ranges would be nice..
Test Lead and Software Test look interesting but since you left out the key word "Engineer" I imagine you can't afford me..
To bad really... haven't been in Atlanta in a long time, and never to Iceland (yet)
Good Luck with the Hunt though...
also given the latest 'scandals' what exactly would be required of "current" players that joined CCP officially? Making your recreational activity your job always has its downsides..

Staffing out a whole new studio in Atlanta is gonna take forever. You should more WW to Austin. We're MMO central. No problem finding qualified candidates here.

It's nice to see that I'm actaully qualified for the Technical Content Author position, in the Atlanta jobs. Coincidentally, I'm going to be in Atlanta for a couple days around the first. It smells like oppertunity.

I'm amazed to see so few posts in reply to this blog.
But yes I'd be intrested in knowing if CCP will need more GM's or junior game programmers any time soon.
Being a fresh new professional bachelor (IT ofcourse) my experience is limited but my willingness to move and learn isn't.

Heya,
That Lead Writer job is looking interesting, especially concidering I'd be happy to relocate from Australia for such a job.
However, the bit at the bottom that mentions portfolios, fails to mention anything for writers. Given that a two page CV is not likely to give CCP|White Wolf any idea of the writer's capabilities (aside from what they've done in the past), this makes me think they're looking internally at existing White Wolf staff.

I have a nice shiny new degree in Electrical Engineering and looking for a job atm. However, not having 1-2 years of experience in software testing is really the only thing holding me back from applying :(. I was looking to get involved with the aerospace industry as I've worked with a company before and really enjoyed it, however, working on Eve would really be cool.
Stupid lack of experience :(

how will these new jobs be checked by IA ? Will each office have their own IA department ?
Will the new people in China adhere to the same "code of conduct" the Icelandic mother company are using or will that clash with local laws ?
Who will enforce correct business conduct in the new MMO you guys are planning to make ?
Will those rules be made public before going live with the new MMO ?
Will the CMO of the new MMO also be making statements like : we have succesfully had a 1000 person battle when in fact that has not yet happened (succesfully)?

What about hiring someone for being awesome? Cause I'd totally win! Think about it... my job title could be "Awesome God of CCP" or if that position is already taken how about "Assistant to the Awesome God of CCP" Although I'd only take that position if I was told that there was a great possibility for advancement.
Just email me if you have any questions?

Victor, thanks for pointing that out. I overlooked the links when I made the announcement.
Masheine, the cost of relocation is prohibitive. We are starting up the Atlanta studio, but using the White Wolf assets as a foundation.
In regards to some of the other questions: Salary ranges- CCP's salary range for the various positions are in-line with the (gaming) industry standard for equivalent positions. Take a look at industry-specific information sites such as Gamasutra for those ranges.
Student Co-op/Internships- CCP has offered GM and Content department internships in Iceland, White Wolf has also offered internships in the Atlanta office. Chances are that internships will be offered in the future. I'll check into student co-op programs, but I have not heard discussion about any being offered.
OTJ experience- If you don't meet the experience requirement listed for a position of interest to you, submit a CV/resume anyway. Who knows, you just might receive an offer if no one else applies for the same position. You also might have some skills that will be useful elsewhere in the company. The worst that you will hear in response is no.

Nice to see so many jobs available at CCP, thou the sad thing is CCP and Blizzard have one thing in common. They dont bother to reply a yes/no or even a simple automated reply of " We have received your application and it is being looked into ". :( Shame great Game, great GMs, Great Company thou alot of small touch ups to make, common courtesy goes a long way.
PS. Still crossing fingers to get job in Shanghai, thou after this post maybe someone will get angry.

Do you allow telecommuting? I'm in Houston and would not permit myself relocating to "provincial" place like Atlanta.
