First the figures.
KIlls 452. Highlights: 45 Battleships 12 Command Ships 10 Hacs 40+ BC 50+ Cruisers
Total Damage Caused 12.3bn
Losses 79. Highlights: 18! Battleships 3 Hacs
Total Damage Received 2.8bn
Now to a brief summary.
KIA Alliance are a 30ish active man group. We specialise in killing, and causng general unrest in an area. Our goal in this contract was very simple, disturb, draw resource and kill as much of our marks as is possible in the 3 weeks given.
Upon arrival to the Khanid Area, we were greeted with what can only be described as a ferocious wall of numbers. We chose Kihtaled as our hom base, which is 5 jumps out from Fix's 0.0 entry system, and 3 jumps out of the main base of ops Badivefi for the Coalition Forces.
First we set about cutting of that supply line, to get to Badivefi you must travel through Kihtaled, and we did our best to make travel there very difficult indeed.
Initially we were outnumberd even in our base system of Kihtaled, with reguarly 50+ hostile pilots in local, but we forced these numbers down, and the hostiles grouped up in Badivefi, it was not uncommon for us when engaging in Badivefi to be looking at 150 hostiles in local.... it was brown stained pants moments most of the time.
We used Nano Cruisers, with no tanking whatsoever, so we were exceptionally vulnerable to any organised attack, and we knew it. Our plan was to get in , kill and get out, as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We also were prpeared to bring out the heavy support, with regular engagements in Kihtaled/Jachanu with our Blaster BS (Sniping is for the weak) against various sized blobs. The 18 (this is a huge number for us, and props to our marks for scoring it) battleships we lost, we lost in just 2 engagements... both times we were trapped and baited, and blobs descnded upon us like a bunch of koreans with a big silver BBQ at crufts, it was a raosting :P
In the 6 large engagements involving KIA BS (8 if you include 2 vs Doom) we lost a total of 2.3 Billion isk, and killed just over 4 billion, not a great ratio, but thats what you get for fighting teh blob :)
Despite our Marks claims, we know that we have achieved our goals, our employer is more than satisified with our work, and the dynamic of Khanid for the past 3 weeks has been very different to pre KIAs arrival. We have kept them busy on many fronts, killed them at every opportunity, cut off re-supply, and genrally been a large pain in their asses.
Fix have enjoyed much more control over their area, and along with the increased performance of fix forces themselves, KIA take a good chunk of the resposibility for this..... I am sure ther are those that will argue, but in private, we have received a lot of positive communications from our marks.
Iron/Pure/Schism/Razor/Morsus have proven to be PvPers of quality, pretty much smackless (aside from a few idiots) and very very few of them logged etc and played unfair. KIAs respect for your attitude and your abilities.
I believe Fix will beat this sustained attack. They are willing to work and they believe in each other, and I think in Eve that is a winning combination. That said, they are under a lot of pressure, and the coalition have made a fair sized commitment to the cause, so its far from over yet.
This contract has been a return to form for KIA, an 80% eff ratio is what we aimed for against a huge blob of PvP focused marks, and it is what we achieved. DAC have been an excellent addition to the Alliances ranks, and with our cap ship program back into full swing, i hope to offer our cap ship fleet over the coming months, aswell as our ganking and small gang engagement expertise.
KIA are now on a small carebear/R&R break, and will return to work very soon. Contact KIAEddZ in game if you are interested in us tendering for a contract.
Thx again to all involved, and safe flight.

That's way too many losses on the coalitions part imo. I have no idea why regular escorts weren't deployed avoiding the many lone ganks i'm sure most of the total number of kills consist of. well, gj i guess and enjoy the R&R.

Edited by: Rawstyle on 17/03/2007 13:59:11 whilst i didn't see eye to eye with you personally eddz, an beleive that you have somewhat over-hyped yourselves in this engagement (as mercs must, to maintain thier saleability) it was fun on occasion, so respect for that. And respect for the 'overall' efficiencey.

Thanks for all the fights, most of them have been smack free, as mentioned except for a few. It saddened me greatly to have to shoot at Greek guys and razor generally. We are professionals however, contract/business goes first. After all its just a game, don't bitter yourself up. To all the Greek guys, we shall hang out once more ;) Thanks for all the fun guys.
Now... its time to undock my barge once again and get out that rusty raven :D

Just for the record on the stats.
16 of the 18 battleships were lost in 2, yes 2 engagements. Both engagements started out as 2:1 against us, and both engagements saw at least an additional 30-50% extra enemy ships arrive shortly after the battle had ensued.
This is quite a valid tactic, and I am not having a dig at the marks for bringing extra guns to ensure a victory, but I would point out that KIA did state that we would not be going 'toe to toe' with the coalitions fleets, and these 2 engagements were simply an agreed effort by all pilots to have a bit of fun. And fun we had.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this contract, and respect to all who we flew against.
Carlsberg dont make Eve Pilots, but if they did, i wouldnt be one of them.

What a joke you are and what utter rubbish you are posting. Just for the record this is a complete lie and the evidence is on their own kb.
