As others have said. This is not good!
And it is not final ship either, as one of those was a frigate in one plex, one was a BC in another plex. |

When you log in close your launcher. I am not 100% sure what it is, but it seems to be down to one of these things (or a mix). 1) pc going to sleep, and when it starts back up the launcher tries to connect before the network is restored! 2) IP change on local network (why???) 3) Starting the launcher up without a valid network connection.
If I close my launcher regularly then everything seems to be okay, if I forget to close it and put my PC to sleep then when I start it up the next morning I often find that it has deleted accounts.

I think the penalty is either on a timer, or a "instance"... Cant remember "been a long time since I delved into such things".
So one penalty every 15 minutes or perhaps one penalty every plex (not sure)... It shouldn't be one per ship. The old rule of thumb on this would be to kill the most generic item first (nothing advanced on overview!).
As for standing loss. Again it has been a long time.
But since your moving down it's 2.4% of how far you can move down.
Say your standing is +8, you can go as long as -10. So there is a total of 18 standing points in total, thus it is 2.4% of 18.. or a .432 actual standing loss.
The downside of this system is that trying to recover from it (not a big deal as CCP SHOULD reverse it fully) would need you to gain those .432 points back. 8 - .432 = 7.568 10 - 7.568 = 2.432 (2.432 is max movement) So 0.432/2.432 = 17.76% gain you would need.
That's why it's a big OUCH... A standing of 8 would mean that 2.4% loss requires 17.76% gain to recover. |

Yea, they have quit spawning.
Perhaps the spawn rate was too high, or perhaps the event is over ;P. |

I think the standings were incorrectly fixed. You seem to have done a increase of 2.4%*(number of times penalty received).
So people who had a high standing with Amarr took a hit, people who were Matar mission runners might now be sitting at +10 Amarr!
That's if my maths are correct. I am fairly sure that it takes the difference between where your at and where you can go and applies a %.
So a Matar mission runner with -7 Amarr standing runs say 10 of those, It took them to -7.65.. Then you guys said, Give him a 2.4%*10 boost (24%).. 17.25 * .24 = 4.14 gain... -7+4.14 = -2.86
So that doesn't even come close to what they had before!
Someone with a high amarr standing.. Lets say +9 If they ran 10 of those then it took them to +4.9 standing. You then gave them the same 24% boost.. 5.1*.24 = 1.224 gain.. or 6.1224 standing...
Again, That was not even close to what the players had before!..
If I am wrong on how standing gains and losses are calculated then someone feel free to let me know. But I am fairly sure that the following is the rule. Negative gain is multiplied times Difference of Standing and -10. Positive gain is multiplied times Difference of Standing and +10. |
