Recently, not sure specifically after which patch, been busy with finals, but...
Now when I try to play the game I am experiencing lag when loading up a new system. I will jump through the gate, I can see the new area, I can type in the chat windows and see other people talking but I do not seem to be loading up the system I've just jumped into. I can right click and I have the drop down menu with all the pertinent local information for the new system (stations, stargates, bookmarks and such) but I cannot actually warp to anything. Approach/Align are on the menu but they don't actually do anything. Sometimes I jump through to a new system and there is no problem at all, it loads right up. Other times I will jump through and it will take anywhere from 20 seconds to well over a minute to load up. I don't know exactly how long it would have taken in some instances as I mostly live in Null and have no desire to sit there inert 15km off a gate waiting to die.
I've ruled out it being a problem with a specific zone as when I am in fleets nobody else experiences the problem.
Essentially the game is not playable for me in this current state. So, I'm willing to accept the monthly fees credited back to my account(S) for the duration of this new feature.
I am running Win7 64bit ultimate on an asus MB with an AMD phenom 3ghz quad core and 8gb of RAM. There isn't a single Intel chip on my rig.
I do run multiple accounts at the same time and to diffuse this as the scapegoat ahead of time, I've been doing that for years and never encountered that problem.
I have no other stability issues or discrepencies once the zone has loaded, everything is fine. As I mutli box it is weird that one account will experience the issue and another may not.
I will follow up with dxdiag when I get home from work. |

WHAT THE **** IS YOUR MALFUNCTION CCP. FIX THIS ****.
I went through the extremely enjoyable reportabug process with screen shots and all kinds of fun stuff. There isn't any sort of response or indication it has even been looked at.
There is no hardware malfunction or mfg /brand for them to point the finger at and blame, its all on their end. Personally, I'm really having a great time not participating in the current nullsec war with my alliance since I can't move from one system to the next with any sort of reasonable expectation of success.
I've tried clearing the cache which seems to provide a temporary reprieve but doesn't fix the problem. This issue doesn't care if you're moving between systems in the same constellation or across a region, it will hit you anytime anywhere.
One thing that I have found that you can do is even though the zone hasn't loaded you can click on and activate your modules once your initial cloak wears off. I have been jumping into systems, landing blind with no idea what is there, hitting dscan at 360 degrees and praying. Also, manically clicking on my cloaking device so it comes on once my jump cloak times out. |

The patch today seemed to alleviate this issue for me somewhat, I played for a little under an hour and had a couple of jumps in which it took some time for the new zone to load up but nothing like that it had been.
Has anyone else noticed anything after today's patch? |

Fortunately for me the 2nd or 3rd fix they had for this worked for whatever my problem was. This has precipitated a noticable drop in my blood pressure. Thanks CCP. |
