I normally do exploration (relic/data) sites in a t2 frigate, however I seem to find lots of combat sites. I am training into a stratios and whilst I know that it is bonused for relic/data can it also effectively clear combat sites. If so which DED level (I assume they come as DED levels) can it deal with. Also does anyone have an appropriate fit to deal with the combat sites? |

if memory serves me correctly i used to run a 5/10 ded site that spawned from a high sec escalation in my stratios. Basically i used to use an astero and a stratios. |

Yeah pretty much. you can do up to DED level 5. Anything above gets really tricky and I would recommend a buddy or two.

5/10s get a little ass-clenching in a Stratios. They're workable but not comfortably if you ask me. 6/10s, depending on the faction, are actually more amenable. I doubt 7/10s will really work (not that they're all that awesome to run anyhow). |

I would also like to know what a good fit for a C2 stratios is? Are they good ships for C2's?

If you mean wormhole combat anomalies, the Stratios and the Gila can just sit still in any class 1 and 2 combat anomaly but not above.
You may learn the hard way that at class 3 and up Sleepers are no joke anymore.
Just like any other pve activity you may want to have an afterburner on your boat. The Stratios wants heavy drones for most kinds of pve.
But bring a set of sentry drones with you, sometimes the red thingies are a little far for heavy drones, so just kill them with sentries.

Yeah, that's what I meant, sorry. I was training through the Astero -> Stratios path but wasn't sure that was going to get me where I wanted. Thanks.

Ask not what the Strat can do for you, but what you can do for the Strat: how much bling are you willing to pile on? Really makes a world of difference on those ships- a non-blinged Strat is no better than a cloaky Vexor- give or take. |

Oh man, with sentry drones that thing can pop stuff quick, haven't tried it in missions higher then lvl III but I used it in the "purity" event and it was great. |
