i like the idea, the crew will add extra value to a ship and make it more anoying to loose ... there could be that the balance of fight can also be shifted towards the ship with more experienced crew, a crew that knows the ship more than the other guys ship with a newly recruited crew. but also crew experiance could be based on ship model, like, a crew that has been working on a moa would not be able to use some of its skills when transfered into a nighthawk, etc. ... crew that requests missions could also be fun thing to do.. or somekind of crew based storyline mission that rewards player with a special crew members, there can be crew quarters that you can just drag and drop crew like cargo space. higher ranged officers will take extra crew space :P .. sweet idea, would make eve a better place can finnaly make a difference on the fact between a old ship with experianced crew and a new ship with a rookie crew ... meaning more dangerous to loose ... and it would finnaly bring sence to some of the eve chronicles ..

-Recieving missions from crew for extra crew related addons -Boost on verious systems (reload, mining, exploration) -Makeing ships with crew a lot more risky to loose (since that way you will not be just loosing isk, but also the time you have spent on the crew ;) ) -With the next expansion coming up, could be interesting if we also get to see our crew members -Options such as crew quarters, or bigger quarters for higher ranked crew maters(level ? / crew SP ?)
After all, there crew is there, we might just as well have fun with it :P Knights of MADD |

The importance of crews is getting more apparent as chronicles go on ... They impact the performance of the ship. They are recruited and often get specialized training for different tasks. They get paid. They die.
This is actually rather easy to implement ... in fitting screens there is enough empty space. This are calculated by stacks of effects, adding a new layer on it is not hard task. Like when boosters arrived. This is a feature that is worth investing time in. Its something that will bridge the sense of scale with the players.
This can be implemented on PI. Training crews can become a new career option. Or an aspect of single player owned structures.
Come on CCP, dont you see we want this kind of thing more then crappy footwear and trinkets.
