When you log into your EVE game (after you've put in your password but before you click on the character portrait), look at the bottom center of the screen. There should be an icon that looks like a present that's labeled Redeem Items or something like that.

Of course, that's only if you actually followed the dev blogs and went into Account Management before the 21st and chose one of the items for a holiday present. If you chose a neural remap, it won't be in the redeeming system -- it's automatically applied. Any of the other choices would be in the redeeming system though.

Gonna have to add my voice to the choir here, i'm afraid.

I got both of the Genolution implants that were automatically put into the redeem system but this is the first time I, too, am hearing about this. I had NO idea there was anything else to redeem in the Account Management section because, as stated by others, I don't have the time to be here that often, much less learn there was a time limit. It's not even Christmas until the 25th so it seems silly to have cut off the gifts already.

I love EVE to death, I really do, but i'm equally enthralled by my consoles, OTHER PC games and my life outside of videogames. I haven't been on the EVE site itself for a while, much less in the Account Management page, but I HAVE been in-game. Sending a mail to my character would have been a much more effective way of letting people now.

Having said that, however, I don't get why this has even occured. This has never been the way things were given out before so why has that changed?

I also never recieved any email's and like many others who actualy have a life outside EVE have been busy with the lead up to christmas that the few times i did log in over the last week or so have also only gotten the update patch screen so never saw anything about any christmas gift, im just baffled at the stupidity off CCP's sometimes.

oh, and you can be rest assured that my stuff will go to a worthy and deserving cause.

What i'm doing is exercising my right to make a choice about what i do with my hard-earned cash and i dont have to justify that to anyone. If you have a problem with that, tough.

If you reason is you were too busy to log in for a month (the first notice went out at the end of November) how is that CCP's fault.

By the way, in one of the other games that I play the announcement of their Holiday Special had a whopping 2 day notice, and a window of 5 days. The only announcement was on their log in screen and web site.

Oddly enough, nobody complained.
