Sorry, not sure i believe u was the mega pilot afk or something?
Cos unless he was, i cant see how a thorax could take out a bs, even if it was only equiped with miners. It takes long enough killing a bs with another bs.

Don't underestimate the power of 8 heavy drones :) In close range with the right setup, the thorax is by far the best damage dealing cruiser around :P |

Aye. But the Megathron has the ability to launch 10 heavies. And a Thorax should die plenty fast that way.
If this is true,the Megathron pilot got a Darwin award.

Last night i destroyed 50 megathrons with my griffin, also i blew up a station and 62 armageddons, the cops wasted 492 dominixs that tried to attack me, i also have a 50 inch *****. (No screenshots though)

A Thorax using blasters and heavy drones could easily kill a Megathron IF the Mega had no MWD, no close-range guns, no heavy drones, and didn't log.
Of course anyone flying a battleship alone with no close-range defenses and no drones doesn't deserve to keep it...

Wow. Have you found some ³ber tech lvl 3586 blasters then? Since a battleship can't destory another battleship during the time it takes for the ship to disappear if the pilot logs, how the heck do you plan to do it with a cruiser?

I haven't tried getting pounded by a lone Thorax recently, but I doubt you would have to log off to survive.

Agree with Gariuys, I put my bet on neutron blasters and hugging the hapless ship very closely. Thorax most likely have various items to boost power, and a C5-L running on auto while he fight. |

ok this just in: I destroyed 23 more megathrons and 80 ravens with my VERY WELL SETUP thorax. Also 98 scorps and 243 dominixs died while trying to attack me. My pÚnis also grew some 150 inches, totalling a massive 200 inchs. Wow i rule.

If you are flying a Gallentian cruiser or BS and you don't have a full load of heavy drones and the skill to use them, you are cheating yourself out of nearly half the damage your ship can do.

Name a bship pilot without:
- Heavy Drones
- FoF Cruise Missiles (assuming they get jammed, otherwise normal cruise or torps).
And you've got the person that could lose a Megathron to a single Thorax. Basically:
A bship miner.

Well, considering he had no drones, and was in 0.0... he most likely wasnt mining. with 425s and 0 drones. unless he was using 1 miner..

uhm thats not true...u forgot the 101 apocs 402 tempests and 1509 jove battle ships from their invasion navy
and ofcourse the 4327 armas and 9281 typhoons that died trying to attack u
