We, The EVE Forum Moderator Team, believe that Archilies's Alliance Contacts List is a valuable resource and as such we have decided to lend it our support to help keep it up to date. We do not, however, take any responsibility for the accuracy of the information contained within this thread. We ask that you follow the instructions laid out by Archilies as well as the rules below when contributing this thread. Rules: Your corporation and alliance identifiers must be showing to post in this thread. This thread is *only* for posts from authorised alliance diplomats stating changes that they believe should be made to this list. If you have a problem with the accuracy of this list please contact Archilies directly. Santiago Cortes Caldari ISD Interstellar Correspondents Interstellar Services Department	Posted - 2007.03.21 06:12:00 - [4] o/ Interstellar Correspondents have an exciting future with new opportunities to report on the goings on in the Eve Universe just around the corner. For IC to function properly we require your assistance. Not all diplomats are cleared for media work, one of our main bugbears is not being able to get in contact with people in corps or alliances that can speak to us. Whilst searching for contacts is fun it detracts from our writing time and ages a story prematurely, it also can mean we are incapable of giving a story balance if we cannot get hold of one side or that we scrap a story because of this. If there is currently no one in your alliance that is media-cleared or you do not wish to be contacted please state NO Media. We will still contact you if there is a story about your alliance for the sake of balance but will not actively seek you out for interview. We will also take the contact names of media cleared people by mail to [email protected] or Eve mail to myself. And if you think we're doing such a terrible job that you could do better, why not apply for IC here: ISD Application forum rules \| mailto:[email protected]

One of my pet peeves is doing work only for events to overtake them. I really want IC to be able to do stories and publish them immediately if not quicker. Today is a fantastic example, with the POS battle we're desperate to interview combatants for balance sake and it's difficult, especially with time zones involved. Writing is not in itself too time consuming, interviewing and doing the research is. What we're looking for is people in alliances AND corps that the directors consider are capable of speaking to the media and whilst for the moment it is purely in a written sense, this is subject to change in the future.
