Last time I cleaned it I did it because I accidentally spilled a bit of whisky in the numpad. Half of the keys stopped working, among them the some of the WASD keys (but iirc the numpad enter worked fine). Had to disassemble the thing and rinse the plastic films thorougly. Left most of the remaining mess intact, but the whisky may have added a nice bouquet to the casing. Nevertheless, I'm not looking forward to opening it up again. Not to mention, it's a waste of good whisky :< Also, this thread kinda calls for a repost of some funny linkage I did the other day. *Mad Hermit - Minding our own business since 2004.*

Keyboards are said to be the dirtiest things we have in our homes (worse even than the toilet etc), and I think that holds true for mine.
