It's all about timing. Try different times of day, esp. just after downtime as suggested above. Even the worst chokes aren't 23/7.

If you like to make a lot of isk go kill BoB ships. There is always phat lewt in their wrecks, a lot of expensive tech 2 items and such. Pays better than ratting in belts

Be the ship and modules producer of your corporation and goad the dogs of war into every conceivable conflict, the worse odds the better and tell them good job when they come back from the defeat and add a few bits of advice on what new modules they could try you just happen to have in stock.

Edited by: Crovan on 23/03/2007 02:03:48 150M in a week is easy to clear with access to decent lvl 4 kill missions. The trick is to loot your stuff. Ofc, the best way to do that is with an alt in an industrial, but since yours is deactivated...
Still, though, on missions like "In the Midst of Deadspace" all the Extravaganzas and WCs and all those other big ones, there is loads to be made in loot, salvage, and bounties/tags. In the big mission systems, there are usually buy orders up for the un-named T1 gear at near the mineral value. You can sell a bog standard 425mm Railgun for 1.25M or so in Dodixie, f'ex.
If you have a lot of Melted Capacitor Consoles, eve-mail me ;)

The fact that you think you can't go into 0.0 just proves this, all it requires is a bit of thought. Some people swear by being careful aswell but pfft.
Explain?
Running a lvl 4 goes as follows.
get mission. Get in begin to kill collecting mediocre bounties etc etc etc. bookmark each room. Finish mission. Hand in for reward Warp back in salvage loot ship Loot from lvl 4's is a joke I haven't sold the salvage parts because i don't know what to do with them really.
What am i missing?
Then this is your problem. Either find something profitable to do with your loot and salvage parts (hint: make things), or don't bother looting and salvaging at all. It's possible for good lv4 missioners to blast through missions and accumulate rewards and LPs. Hint: your LPs are also a source of ISK/hour, just not an instant one.

Quote: Yes, selling salvage is great money. The best is to wait until you have about 500 of each (lvl4 missions that's about 10 to 15 missions) and then go to jita to sell it.
Or train up a couple easy skills and make your own rigs, better profit, but more time invovled.

Been playin' off & on for almost 2 years now, and I'm still a total noob.
Now, I've seen people talking about doing kill missions, skip the loot & salvage on the first pass, then come back with an alt to loot/salvage.
My question(s)are how specifically you come back for the loot.
1) When people say come back for the loot with an "Alt" does that mean an alt character on the same account, or does this refer to having a 2nd account?
2) If the alt does mean a 2nd character on the same account, wouldn't that mean you'd have to quit your current session, then log back in with the alt?
3) On my main, I'd have to book mark where the loot was left at, then email the BM's to my alt?
Sorry if these are dumb questions, I just figure I'm missing something. It seems like this would take a long time. Run the mission with my main. Bookmark the loot & email it to my alt. Finish mission & return to my agent for completion. Log out main, log in alt. Fly to the bookmarks to retreive loot & salvage. Done.
Wouldn't it just be faster to pick up the loot/salage the first time through with my main?

You might want to reconsider that LAST step....

Yes these are dumb questions :) Of course Crovan means a second account with a hauler char. But you a right, we both don't need that. Making Bookmarks and jumping in after doing the mission works good. Doing the 4xtractor/4xsalvaging part with a destroyer is even faster.

This is the worst answer ever, Getting a job IRL so you can spend the money on ISK in a game is very sad indeed.

What a cunning plan. As cunning as a fox who's just been appointed Professor of Cunning at Oxford University.
But when will you get to play?

train t1 raven skills, Caldari Bs lvl 3 Torps, xl shield booster, 5 rat specific hardeners, BCU t1 and head out there, the hardest training on here is lvl 4 skills. search very hard and find a quiet system in 0.0 with as many belts possible, keep an eye on local. if you can chain up 2 high level spawns in one system (throne, Conquistadors, idk serp and sanshas, but the 1.5 mil BSes) you will hit an easy 20mil an hour, supplement these 2 spwns by other BS chains and you can do 30 mil an hour.i usually find 1 high level spawn and 4 other chained bs spawns i do 10 mil an hour easy and on my best day had 60 mil in 1 hour ( 4 high levels)
