I neglected myself and people around me for the last 15 years , now i'm 30 with no girlfriend , no job , no friends not even my cat likes me (unless he wants feeding), get an education and forget about games, you have you're whole life to play them.

How about you show us how it's done?
Average life expectancy in the west is >70 years for males. You have, probably, at least 40 years... How about it?

Im 19 and been playing games since i was 12. I have a job, go to uni, play rugby, paintball, fishing. I go out regularly to nightclubs. I keep myself fit. When i was 12-15 i rarely went out with my mates or did anything at all. MY parents were worried about me because i didnt socialise. You just need to realise when its time to do something about your life. No matter what you look like. I used to be a little fat hobbit, now i look after myself, dont smoke, drink or take drugs... exept when i have a headache. I was in a similar situation, not as serious as yours but now, when i meet people ive not seen for like 6 or 7 years they say oh my god you have changed. You just need to leave your computer alone. The way i did it was i smashed my computer up when i was 15. A bit drastic i know but i was so frustrated with how my life was going i had to do something about it. You need to start by doing something you like, you will begin to meet new people and your life will change.
Hope this helps, i know i sorted my problem out when i was young but thats all the advice i can give. .

You mean it's going to take 15 years to get rid of the girlfriend, the job and all the friends. Christ, you just spoilt my day. Get back under your rock.

I am 47 been married for 27 have 6 kids, 2 dogs, unkown amount of cats (buggers are fast) chickens, ducks, and geese. I spent my younger years doing things most of you only seen on t.v. And I am THE casual player of Eve. I spend less the 4 hours a week playing. But spend alot of time at work here in the forums.
I refuse to have a game rule my life, so I dont get into Eve as much as I used to. Matter of fact, if my friends stop logging on I would also.
Get out and see the world while your young, and able to enjoy it friends. Later years in life, the pains and aches will catch up to you. Your energy level will drop with age. Dont let on line games make you a 350lbs single 35 year old man with long greasy hair.
Live life not Eve.....

If you think you have issues you are mistaken. Their are worse off people than you around the world just be happy that your still breathing at the end of the day.
I broke my back in so many places i cant even tell you how much pain and suffering i went threw but at the end of the day the sun go's down and i go to bed alive and still breathing. Im only 21 and dont work and dont have as many freinds as i did before my accident.
This is no sob story on my behalf just so you know that their are worse ppl off than you and haveing a wife, Kids morgatge loads of cash and tons of freinds isnt neccesarily a good life and anything else isnt.
This might even make you feel better about yourself

OH SQUIRT ME SOME TEARS!!!!
Imagine being a 8yo girl in africa sold to a man as a wife so he can cure himself of aids by using you. THEN tell me how bad your life is. You are young enough to change it, and if you can't you're just pathetic, and should just go away.
I am 35, married, no kids, one cat, a promotion in work, which means a move to another city and own my own home. I am also a diabetic, who is overweight, with a degenerative dissolving of my upper spine, and two fused virtebrae in my lower back, severe calcification in my shoulder and vatritus.
You make from life what you put into it. If you enjoy life, it rewards you. Stop being so bloody miserable and get over yourself.

Edited by: Grez on 23/03/2007 03:17:20 I'm not a socialite, but then again I prefer the quiet life. Don't for yourself to do something you don't want too - then again, I wouldn't recommend doing nothing. Aslong as you're doing something with your life that you want to do (no matter how small it may seem), you're doing something good.
