Try being in a raven and loosing 3 torps out of six. Makes me mad everytime i see it and makes missions take longer.

Yes, this is why nobody bothers using missile ships in missions.

And yet despite the NPC defender spammage, missiles are still by far the best missioning weapon, and the best ratting weapon against most rats.
If they really bother you that much, though, get up in your target's face. At 2-5km the odds of them getting defenders off are slim to none. Of course if you want to spam missiles from 100km+, out of range of all that nasty EW and pretty much all damage, there is gonna be a downside to it ;p

It's why I use a Nightmare, not too much worry about defenders and not too much worry about tracking disruptors.

Agreed. Missile damage x2 velocity x20 (defenders wont catch you now!) and explosion radius x0.01 explosion velocity x13.5. And tbh, make it so the missiles give 100 cap to ship each time fired (they give off energy you know).

I've got news for you. My 4 month old Caldari alt completes lev 4 missions solo in a quarter the time it takes my 8 month old Amarr alt to struggle though them. Missions are the LAST thing Caldari need to complain about.

Rofl close range is maybe good to armor tank, but it kill my shields pretty fast, thats why i start atack from 90 km.
If i atack under 30 km, getting much more dmg, dont mentioning annoing web frigs.
And yes, 4 defenders sometime **** me realy off and add now new stuff like jaming 90% time and sometime damping to 8 km.
And try to do that with 130m/s when NPC can usualy fly faster.
