Gaius Kador PIE Inc.	Posted - 2007.03.22 15:43:00 - [1] TES Furious - Armageddon Class Low Orbit Lipairer II To the Anointed Children of God. Last night a PIE battlegroup, led by Vice Admiral Rodj Blake, made its way to the Lipairer system, Kor-Azor region. Our intent was simple, but the challenge potentially massive. PIE Inc would make certain the internal affairs of the Empire were tended to, and affected by, solely those with the official authority granted them by virtue of their position in the Holy Empire of Amarr. We placed our Faith in the hands of God, and went out to do our Duty. Once we had arrived in orbit around Lipairer II, the recent center of disturbances in the Empire, the battlegroup took up close support formation and awaited the arrival of Kor-Azor forces. As the Kor-Azor dignitaries and their escort arrived, PIE moved into position to screen their fleet. To cut a long story short, events proceeded as we had expected until the countdown to planetary bombardment was interrupted by a Speaker of Truth. However, pass my regards to your Lord The communications log has been edited somewhat to filter out assorted animalistic shrieks and blasphemy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As matters stand today, we must await the results of this arbitration, and respect the wishes of the Speakers of Truth. The final verdict on the fate of the Holders on Lipairer II will be eagerly awaited by all those who Serve the Empire, but we must be patient. The last weeks have been eventful indeed. PIE Inc responded to a general call of arms issued by the CVA to relieve the Ushra'Khan terrorists of their newest acquisition, Karishal's Folly - Amarr class outpost, and during a week long assault the system and outpost were secured by the allied loyalist force. Fighting is still heavy around the outpost, and surrounding systems, starchart data actually indicates it to be one of the definite hotspots in the entirety of the star cluster. No matter what challenges will present themselves during the forthcoming fighting around Karishal's Folly, or the verdict regarding Lipairer II, PIE Inc will be there to Serve the interests of the Empire. All in all it was a glorious day, the Speaker will surely settle this matter and then we can move onto other issues that are at hand =) I had the... rather, bad fortune to only have recieved a transcript from a matari broadcast, which was edited in a way that it was no longer a report of events but an attempt to create chaos by implying the Kor-Azor force was going to fire on the Speaker. I shall see to it that those responsible for broadcasting this trash shall be punished in a manner befitting their crimes.

What you fail to realise, what even I myself failed to realise before this event, is that the greatness of Amarr is not within any particular part of the empire, not even the emperor himself. It's in the balance. Over the centuries the Amarr empire has developed a series of checks and balances that regulate activities so to prevent destructive madness and foolishness, but still doesn't paralyse enterprising individuals. I thought we, the empire, were crippled without an Emperor. Either passive abroad or subject to the whims of the various Heirs (who may or may not be Emperor material, if we're going to put it like that), but we're not. Perhaps it's even good that we do not have an emperor for a while (not that we shouldn't elect one as soon as possible!)?
