We knew that living among our enemies meant that we had to hit and run, and adapt our ways to survive. We have never been big fans of fleet battles or POS warfare. We feel at home among the red squares and small gang warfare that has made the curse region one of the most entertaining places to live for so very long. Recognizing that the face of EVE is changing with this war, we set out to make our own impact. Over the last 2 months we have made it our mission to make scalding a difficult region to live in. The result has been an entertaining blood bath that has seen tens of billions of isk lost. In the Scalding Pass/Insmother region since Feb 1st: 122 / 14 Battlecruiser 207 / 7 Battleship 480 / 32 Capsule 337 / 13 Cruiser 25 / 1 Destroyer 2 / 3 Elite Battlecruiser 9 / 35 Elite Cruiser 10 / 1 Elite Destroyer 51 / 26 Elite Frigate 3 / 0 Elite Industrial 3 / 0 Elite Mining Barge 269 / 4 Frigate 177 / 0 Industrial 36 / 0 Mining Barge 1812 kills / 136 losses 43,147,356,665 ISK / 7,425,872,288 ISK In the Scalding Pass region since March 1st: Kills / Losses by class 71 / 8 Battlecruiser 117 / 3 Battleship 332 / 14 Capsule 180 / 5 Cruiser 14 / 1 Destroyer 1 / 3 Elite Battlecruiser 5 / 20 Elite Cruiser 6 / 1 Elite Destroyer 32 / 13 Elite Frigate 2 / 0 Elite Industrial 2 / 0 Elite Mining Barge 190 / 1 Frigate 107 / 0 Industrial 17 / 0 Mining Barge 1138 kills / 69 losses 26,639,196,201 ISK / 4,083,834,041 ISK We know what some of you are going to say and I will answer some of them now to save you the trouble. Comment 1: YouÆre an annoyance thatÆs allà Answer: Good, ignore us and we will keep working. Seeing local drop from an average of well over 100 when we arrived to 40 when you come back to make money is what we like to see. Comment 2: We moved out because we kicked LV out of their space and its more profitable than scalding pass. You are not the reason why KZF is less populated now.. Answer: We donÆt just live in your homeà we live amongst youà We acknowledge that the new regions acquired have given you another area of space to make money inà However our impact on scalding pass has been clearly recorded on your forms and in your Intel channels. Comment 3: You do nothing but cloak all the time. You are nothing but random gankers. Answer: If you could see us you would blob us and we both know that. As for being gankersà We're will engage you on our terms not yoursà Comment 4: Your tricks are getting old weÆre killing your expensive ships with expensive cloaks. Who cares if we lose a bunch of t1 junk? Answer: A good corporation has a good industrial base. 80% of what we fly we build ourselvesà Your t1 battleships (at 100% insurance) cost more than our recons and almost as much as our command ships. Your interceptorÆs costs more than out cloaks... If you think losing 5 ships will stop us from showing up tomorrow your mistaken. But it wasn't uncommon for us to lose 200 battleships and battlecruisers in 2 or 3 days fighting V and LV. Losing that many over the course of 2 months is pretty meaningless for an alliance the size of goonswarm. Also it's a pretty ridiculous claim that your recon and command ships were worth less than our T1 battleships. Even if you built your ships yourselves, you still need to factor in opportunity costs and the simple economics you learn in high school.

The ISK numbers factor in the market cost of all the items destroyed. So if we lose a vagabond we still lose 200mil and the numbers above do in fact reflect that. What i was trying to say is its not money out of pocket for us. Losing 100 recons and 100 covert cloaks is meaningless as it costs us so little. Opportunity cost aside..

Unless you think that Tyrell would have instead spent their time and resources doing something else if they could. The term exists only in the context of a mission and represents a strategic misstep in the success criteria of ones stakeholders, and I'm certain that Tyrell's stakeholders - themselves - would repudiate such a notion. You don't see "opportunity cost" appearing on the books or on an auditor's report, after all. Simple economics, indeed? How about some critical thinking?

You obviously wouldn't know anything about a challenge since you never fight against other PVPers. Even when RAGOON were taking your former alliance apart your corp never helped them defend, and then you left them when things got tough.

Tyrell was sitting in 0.0 part of a major alliance. CoW were running around NPC 0.0 blowing up Goons shouting "lol goons suck we own you so hard." Goons were just getting out of frigates and cruisers and getting the hang of defense gangs around 0.0 space. Today? Tyrell is camping the systems they used to own after goons and RA destroyed their alliance. CoW is camping NPC 0.0 at the fringes of goon space. Both are shouting to everyone who will listen about how many goons they kill. Numbers of goons killed is possibly the most irrelevant statistic outside of the number of times Remedial has seen his feet. Both of you are on the decline while the goons continue to become stronger. You're a flea on a tiger mate, screeching and screaming but everyone is more concerned about the tiger.

So someone might ask: Why hasn't anyone engaged your poses yet ? Answer: Because RA would show up and TCF and maybe more and it would be the same force that cleared out the regions in the first place and an evil pos war again. Ergo, they're doing better over time, and the goonies are doing worse. But let's do the math the goonie suggested stat 1 = 43,147,356,665 (Feb + March kills) stat 2 = 26,639,196,201 (March kills) stat 1 - stat 2 = 16,508,160,464 (Feb kills) March kills is 60% greater than February kills. Maybe you should go back to arguing that efficiency is irrelevant. Because, clearly, arguing that efficiency trends are going your way is, well, not working.

This space belonged to -V-, which Tyrell enjoyed a short stay with after disbanding THEIR alliance (called Curse Coalition) CoW I can't really speak of, except to congratulate them on keeping Captain Diaz alive that long , but Tyrell are far from on the decline. Far from it me-ladio! A tiger is easy to evade, but before you know it the flea has already given you a nasty dose and is ****ting all over your open wounds. Time to kick the inactives me thinks luv pookie We rarely had more than 15 or 16 pilots in a gang in KZF. A good 90% of the kills were done with less than 10 people. 110 = Many many alts.
