Mobile small, medium and large warp disruptor II all have the same skill requirements: Anchoring lvl5 Propulsion jamming lvl 5 electronics lvl3 navigation lvl2
Thumbs up for propulsion jamming lvl5 over the t1 versions - but the anchoring lvl 5 REALLY hurts for just being able to use them.
Suggested skills: Small Anchoring lvl3 Propulsion jamming lvl 5 electronics lvl3 navigation lvl2
medium: Anchoring lvl4 Propulsion jamming lvl 5 electronics lvl3 navigation lvl2
large: Anchoring lvl5 Propulsion jamming lvl 5 electronics lvl3 navigation lvl2
Even hurts suggesting same skill requirements for the large bubble - but I dont see a way around it to keep the skill requirements increasing by size of the bubble.
atm the t2 version of the bubbles are next to useless because training anchoring lvl5 is such a waste of training time.

See it from the bright side, as soon as you get anchoring 5 you can use all T2 bubbles.
But yes, a stepping grade like all other modules would make sense.
We're sorry, something happened.

Why should it be allways easy ? I see those things all like small professions. Specialisations in things. I prefer to keep it hard to get on the highest level or do you prefer WOW effects in eve where everyone can handle all stuff very quick. I don't even like the skill points new player gets and then also level IV needed for advanced learning skills. Work for your skills (better said wait). If there is nothing to lookforward to reach certain skills there is no joy. I still remembered the day i could endly fly a freighter or a AF. If they also lowered that skill to a simple level you get flooded with certain things. And if everyone could anchor that bubble it would be even harder to get trough gate camps or other fights.

You are exactly correct on this issue, and it's about time someone else noticed this. I made a thread about this back in December. The consensus was that... well... having ridiculously long skill training and having the same training for small medium and large was a GOOD thing. Because lower SP characters are BAD. If you are a PvP'er you should have maxed out advanced charisma learning skills and Anchoring 5 already. |

currenty you have to basically have to train six ranks of skills to level 5 - thats a rank 6 prereq for the bubbles. Lets compare that to other t2 stuff: Assault ships: engineering, mechanic and frig lvl5 = four ranks Medium turrets specialization: small and medium turret lvl5 = four ranks Ballistic control system II: no lvl5 rank Power diagnostic system II: no lvl5 rank Reactor control unit II: two lvl5 ranks Heavy assault ships: 5 ranks for skill, 5 ranks for ship = ten ranks Covert ops: four ranks
digging into the efficiency of the skills required to train the higher ranked skills required for most of the long training features of the game ALL of them are better than anchoring lvl5 which is about as useless as tactical shield manipulation (another story).
so, please PLEASE fix the bubble skill req (even remove anchoring lvl5 for the large t2 bubbles) and preferably add lvl5 skills to use the ballistic control system II and power diagnostic system II (t2 item without a level 5 skill eh?)
grr...
