I was doing an exploration site the other day, hacked a container, and got a BPO for some kind of shield module. After bringing it back to the station I discovered it was simply a copy. I thought perhaps I had simply made a mistake, but I could have sworn that it was a BPO originally.
So just now I ran another site, hacked another container, and found another BPO. I took a screenshot of it this time, thinking it might transform into a copy. And sure enough, it did. Now it is a copy, but I have the screenshot from when it was an original.
Anyone seen this? |

BPOs don't drop from exploration as far as I am aware (but, I'm not the smartest cookie sometimes).
I think it would have been a bug if your saw a BPO. Should have always been a BPC.
Worth hitting F12 and bug reporting

It was definitely a BPO both times, and now I have the screenshot to prove it. And yes I'll certainly report it but want to hear what others say to this first. For all I know someone will say "known issue." |

Dunno, never had this issue.
